He would get too many holding calls on the edge. |

Ciron Black telling teams he's willing to play Guard (smart move)
That's interesting because alot of people feel RT is his best position and he doesn't project well at LT. Black might not have the most talent but he's smart and works hard. I think he'd be solid at RT or guard. |

Yeah sounds like someone's in his ear there hoping he'll get picked higher. |

from the reports I've read footwork issues, latches on more than pushes, takes guys on straight up and too high.. good rushers will make him not only latch, but probably pull more |
Re: 2010 Combine
Apparently he has quick feet and will misjudge angles at times missing his intended target. When he does so, rather than turn to stand helplessly around the pile, he moves on to the next target. Good effort to block downfield.
Iupati is surprisingly agile in getting out and blocking at the second level. Good body control and straight-line speed for a player of his size. Can re-adjust in space to hit the linebacker. Fails to lock onto the defender, at times, preferring to violently shove his target to the ground and look for others. I think the issues you bring up can be coached away. |
Re: 2010 Combine
Iupati measured 6'5", 331 lbs, not sure about the arm length. Spoke with the Bills and Falcons today

Re: 2010 Combine
Bruce Campbell's arms measured nearly 37 inches. He's a monster. I really hope we end up with either him, Okung, or Davis.

Unless we trade back I can't see us landing Campbell, unless the OTs really screw themselves. |

Agreed. I just mean that when it's all said and done I hope we end up with one of those three. That includes the possibility of us trading down. Anyone see Tebow on NFL Total Access tonight? He's so impressive. |

He fumbled once during practice under center during the senior bowl. Not exactly a habit. He'll be fine. Don't you worry. Try telling him he can't do something. Any team that drafts him expecting him to be a day 1 starter will be disappointed. But he will be successful in the NFL as a QB. I really believe that. |

It's a little different with him. Hard to deny that. But I get the skepticism. |
Re: 2010 Combine
There looks like a lot of good O-linemen available. It makes me wonder how many will be taken in the first round and what/who will be available in the second and beyond. I've read that Iupati is trying to show he can play tackle at the combine.

Campbell's an athletic freak (think he runs like a 4.67 40) but there are concerns about his ability to stay healthy and more importantly with how raw he is. He'll be a 1st round pick based on ability but he's projected as a long term project. Heard Davis didn't interview too well. Talent wise he's probably the best of the LTs but he does carry question marks |

Brown spoke with the Chargers
34 3/4 arm length for Iupati Jason Fox (who apparently the Redskins talked to, can't confirm) 6'7", 303 lbs, 34 arm length |
Re: 2010 Combine
Jimmy Clausen 6'2, 222 lbs (that should answer the questions about whether he's even over 6 feet)
Sam Bradford 6'4, 235 lbs |
Re: 2010 Combine
I thought it was kinda funny that people were seriously questioning Clausen's height to begin with. Just eyeballing him on TV you can tell he's over 6'.

Waiting to hear on Colt McCoy's height and weight
Curious about Bradford's weight. Is that added muscle? |

Re: 2010 Combine
Colt McCoy 6'1, 216 lbs (I think the hope was he'd be a bit taller)
Tim Tebow 6'2, 235 lbs (almost 6'3) JEVAN SNEAD!!!!! 6'3, 219 lbs |

I agree. When a team drafts a "project" they need to be pretty confident that the guy has the desire, work ethic and intelligence to improve himself, i.e. that he's very coachable. Tebow fits that to a T. He might end up as a career backup, but that's not bad for a guy many think can't even make a team. One thing that is almost certain about him; he's comfortable in the spotlight & used to a lot of attention. He's not likely to crack under pressure like R. Leaf, who was just overwhelmed w/his situation. |

I'll be on a conference call at that time though so it might be tricky
Anyhow Jonathan Dwyer-5'11" 229 lbs (I think scouts were hoping he'd be closer to 220 lbs) LeGarrette Blount-6'0", 241 lbs Jahvid Best-5'10", 198 lbs |

Curious about Bradford's weight. Is that added muscle?
Chris Mortensen via Twitter: Bradford's slight build last year at Okie (around 222) concerned some teams. His 236 looks like good (muscle) weight. And from MoveTheSticks: My sources at the weigh-in said that Bradford carried 236 well. Muscled not puffy. |

Expects everyone at the offseason programs Expects Campbell here Will tender him next week Expects competition for the QB position |

Re: 2010 Combine
You know where i think Tebow should land. Indy.
Perfect situation for him to learn and grow behind the best QB in football. The guy says all the right things about work ethis and stiving to get better. If I were him I would be begging for a chance to learn from the best in Peyton. Indy needs a backup and Tebow would be a good fit. He gets a chance to sit and learn and if he pans put then The Colts would probably be able to get good value for him if they ever wanted to trade him in a few years. Tebow also doesn't have the pressure of having to ebcome a starter any time soon. |
Re: 2010 Combine
Indy or maybe even New England. The silver lining in all of this for Tebow is he will likely go to a good team where he can learn from an established QB and stable coaching staff.

I agree. My only worry is that the Jags take him in the 1st round. They're desperate to start selling more tickets and he's a hero in the state of Florida. They've been linked to him for a while. I really hope that doesn't happen. The best chance for him to succeed will be to play behind an established qb for a few years. |
