I called this yesterday. I wanted to see Griffin come up on stage, hold the jersey, and then display some Redskins socks. For some reason, I'd be delighted by this.

a Cleveland fan I know told me we stole his qb. He was so mad at their FO. I honestly doubt this trade will appease him.

That's what I thought, I guess their telling their fans looking we're trying. Those are low picks which leads me to believe they were competing against themselves.

For better or for worse, the future for the Redskins has just been decided. This could be the guy for 10-15 years, or it could set the team back 5-6 years. I'm hoping it's the former.

You have to consider the rounds. An "average" 7th rounder is going to be a special teamer and a longshot to be a starter. A "average" 5th rounder is somewhat better than a 7th rounder, but the same thing applies. 4th rounders are specialists, on average.
