2012 Redskins Draft Day Thread: Round 1
I guess this is somewhat anticlimatic, but I do look forward to all the picks following RGIII. What an awesome day to be a Redskins fan. Perhaps the first franchise QB we've had since Sonny.
Ladies and gentlemen, with the number two pick in this year's NFL Draft, the Washington Redskins pick Baylor QB and Heisman Trophy Winner Robert Griffin III. Boom shakalaka |

I haven't been this excited for a drafted QB since Heath Shuler....I hope the result is not the same

RG3
The 3 stands for the amount of super bowl wins he gets in DC.

You can drop the word "Perhaps" in the above. I believe that the last time the Redskins DRAFTED a franchise QB, it would have been Sammy Baugh back in the 1930s. Remember, they acquired Jurgensen in a trade with the Eagles for "Stormin' Norman" Snead.

Anyone else nervous??? I keep having a recurring nightmare:
"With the 2nd overall pick the Washington Redskins select Justin Blackmon" I know I suffer from Post Cerratic Stress Disorder but can someone calm me down and tell me I'm crazy... please. |

True that. But I didn't use the word "draft". Point remains though

re: 2012 Redskins Draft Day Thread: Round 1
Why don't we already have a thread titled "With the Second Overall Pick The Redskins Select...Robert Griffin III"
No sense in waiting.

Because then you'd have a significant amount of egg on your face when you realize that this whole thing is a smokescreen to draft Ryan Tannehill...

Re: 2012 Redskins Draft Day Thread
Anticlimactic? No way, been waiting for this day since Rypien left!
I'm still pumped. Wore my Redskins tie into the office this morning. Usually save it for after wins on Mondays, but I broke it out in April this year! My boss, a Ravens fan even commented on how exciting it is for RG3 to go to DC. It's a great day.
