Re: Redskins v/s Eagles Predictions
Let me state the obvious here. If we can't beat the eagles, our season is Officially over ( I already think we're done but the door isn't "fully" closed yet). The eagles have NO Oline whatsoever. They have no left or right tackle. No center. If Kerrigan can't get pressure on their ROOKIE QB, he may as well be added to the list of replaceable guys. Same for JJ Bowen and cofield. Expect a lot of quick passes. Tackling is going to be key on those quick desean Maclin avant slants. The eagles have good pass rushers so expect a lot of Alfred Morris up the middle. It's still going to be close since there isn't much film of foles. So he'll make some plays early on and eagles are going to be fighting since there's pressure on them and Andy.
Ban me too. After this week, it will officially return to business as normal and, once again, watching the Skins will become an unnecessary masochistic experience. It will, again, be no fun watching the Skins as they lose to the hot mess that the Eagles have become. In doing so, we will simultaneously prop up current Eagles regime, once again make a rookie look like a future HOF'er and subject ourselves to a full week of rants and, in the case of Goat & crew, a blistering round of "I told you so" gloating.Philly 24

Skins 29 (3 TDs, 2 FGs, and a safety -- Kerrigan gets to Foles)
Eagles 26 (2 TDs, 4 FGs, and a blocked FG at the end of regulation causes fans to wet themselves with glee).

Hell, I still want freaking payback for the body bag game in the fall of 1990. Still livid about that. Let's knock out Foles and see who their third string is. And let's get to that guy, so that they have to have a RB throwing passes.

I wonder if Andy Reid would be fired if they lost to us?

Ima say 28 - 7. RG3 runs 70 throws for 250 and throws 3 TD. And are D gets 2 turnovers.

Sorry -- that wasn't sufficient for me. Not nearly the same level of humiliation. I wanted to leave them in utter ruin. And if we squash them this weekend, the calls for Reid's head and the end to Vick's career will grow louder. We need to impose our will and leave them in agony.

(And my mother-in-law is an Eagles fan -- trust me. The only thing I can think of when someone asks me for a prediction involkving the Eagles is the Clubber Lang response: "Pain.")

I don't care who wins. Not because I'm fed up, or tired of the same stuff. This year (like the past two) should be about improvement. I have no problem losing to a team. I do however, have a massive issue with losing to ourselves. I need to see pressure from the D-line and coverage out of the secondary. I we play like we did the first couple of games, the win will take care of itself. HTTR!

I'm always hopeful that the Skins will win.

Nevertheless, our history says that there is a lot of FAIL to overcome in this game.

- We haven't won after the bye week for what, 6 years or something like that.
- Our record at home has been pathetic during the Shanahan era.
- We have a way of making rookie QB's look good.
- We're the team to play if another team is on a losing streak (Carolina).

So, to avoid being banned, I'll say Redskins 58, Eagles 0.

See, typically I'd be right there with you, but kind of like the home losing streak, SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE.

I think this is the week that "something" gives. Sure we are getting zero pressure, but the line for the Eagles is in total shambles. If we can get some pressure on these second and third (fourth?) stringers, it's a win. I think the offense and defense both come out energized from the bye and the return of both Garcon and Merriweather.

Will this be the moment in history when the skins break down the barriers and start a new glorious era? or will we see a massive frustrating depths of despair collapse that is epic all?

Re: Redskins v/s Eagles Predictions

Yeah. I can only imagine. I usually post over on the ESPN Skins board. But Skins fans everywhere are tired of the losing. You know it's bad when it's a bye week and you're still scared your team might lose!

I've given up on the defense this year & am placing all blame from here out on Kyle and the offense. For as horrid as the secondary is, they've actually held teams under 30 points. Can't win any games scoring under 20 points as we've done in the past two outings.

Griffin, Morrison & surprisingly the O-line have out performed expectations. But, IMO, this week is put up or shut for Kyle, Robinson, Cooley, Morgan, Helu & Hankerson.

Dropped passes and penalties have been killing us but some of the playcalls have been suspect to say the least.
