Re: NFL offseason 1.0 thread
I'm not interested in a McCloo curveball.
Not by any means. If all his targeted DL guys are not there at 17 then he needs to take the best defensive player available. If he drafts offense with that pick then he's a fecking moron. |
Re: NFL offseason 1.0 thread
My eyes told me this team regressed last year. Everyone is accountable, including Scott and his team.
We might have made the playoffs for a 2nd straight year if his staff would have tried to land a decent DL and/or S in the off season (Draft or FA). But somebody had a theory that slumming & coaching up unproven players was the way to go & Scott put his name to it. Time to live up to the rep this year. |

If the Skins blow it next year and regress, I say Gruden and Scott M. are gone.... Granted i'm talking about a total collapse like winning 5 or 6 games |

Greg from the Cooley and Kevin show tweeted "Glory or the dark ages" ^^ Bit of an exaggeration here but I do think that if they don't bring Cousins back, and don't find at the very least 2 big playmakers and a decent player (2 at DL, 1 at FS) this offseason, next season is going to be tough, and who knows what's happening next offseason if we end up 6 and 10 ? |

I'm curious to know, if you're a pro athlete who made almost 20 mil during his career but obviously had his income dry up since he left the league, do the courts adjust your child support payments based off the income you earn now? |

I think he can petition the court to change the order of child support if he's not making the same amount of money. |

That seems fair. Of course he'd owe more money when he was raking in millions. Sad to see another millionaire athlete not have his priorities straight after his playing days are over. I would be budgeting the hell out of my money and investing the majority of it so I could sustain my lifestyle once the football money ran out. |

stay away stay away
Sure, now that Cutler is old and washed up instead of young and slightly above average, it makes perfect sense that we'd be interested in him now. Maybe we can trade Kirk and a first for him. |

If we let Kirk go and don't get a QB like Romo, fuck it might as well get cutler.. He's better than colt right?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
Cutler? Romo? They would be stop gap moves regardless. The big noise at this moment is Winston seems to want Desean in Tampa Bay There is a good chance we lose both Desean and Pierre this off season. If that is the case two picks will be for WR I think, unless we get a cheap FA wide out. 2017 might end up being a whack year for the Skins. |

They both suck, Cutler may retire according to reports. If we don't have Kirk in 2017, we will have a LONG YR bro.. It could be another 4-12 season |

Tony could be a good pick up if he stays upright.. He's better than Colt or a rookie starting. |
Re: NFL offseason 1.0 thread
I want KC to work out, but...
For some reason I think Colt will be ok. I think that is why it is hard for the front office to swallow the large numbers for KC - they believe that Colt will work. So following this train of thought... maybe QB isnt a free agent need most think it is. That gives even more inherent value to trading KC - none of the picks have to back fill QB. Not what I want to see, but is a legit thought process IF Colt can play. |
Re: NFL offseason 1.0 thread
Colt McCoy is one concussion from retiring. He cannot make it through a full year healthy. This is stupid that we are even talking about something this dumb. McCoy can be a back up for a game but over the course of a year? He will suck badly.

I agree. If Colt could stay healthy I think he would be ok,but I dont think he can. |

Colt cannot make the deep throws Cousins can, but if we lose both our starting recievers as well I guess it doesnt really matter. F this team and this bullshit.

Re: NFL offseason 1.0 thread
I don't even want to have the "potential replacements for KC" discussion, so I won't. If the plan is to let Kirk go and potentially have Colt start the entire year, I won't root for a team this year, I'll just watch the games and hope they're entertaining.

I think Romo walks off in the sunset. His body is broken.
There was a time where Snyder wanted Cutler really bad and that trade almost went down. He also wanted Mark Sanchez.. lol. |

Re: NFL offseason 1.0 thread
Can we stop with the Romo stuff? I realize Dan and Bruce perhaps aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer when it comes to football decisions, but there is no way they're so effing moronic that they would let a franchise QB who hasn't yet hit his prime leave, and then turn around and bring in a guy whose career is a year or two at best from being over, and would cost about the same as keeping Cousins! It's just not happening
