The Philadelphia Eagles released their first injury report on Thurdsay in advance of their Week 7 game against the Washington Redskins.

For the first time since early in the season, not a single player sat out of practice entirely (although Chris Maragos was placed on injured reserve).

It's the NFL, anything can happen. I want to see a strong pass rush and QB protection, don't give Wentz time to throw and hit him.

Rushing AND containing Wentz would be my ignorant fan key to the game too ! ^^

Watching the all 22 version of Eagles @ Panthers, I'm starting to believe a little more: they are tough to run the ball against, but their pass rush isn't that scary, and our offense, and Kirk in particular, are playing way better than week one.
Hope Docston keeps improving and at least one out of Pryor, Crowder and Reed finally wakes up.

On defense we are banged up but we'll be more prepared to contain Wentz, and the first game we gave up yards, downs and points on blown coverages on extended plays, it's reasonable to hope that'll be fixed.

I'll go ahead and say Skins 31 Eagles 28.

Few things from the Eagles @ Panthers game:

- Philly offense didn't operate at such a great level, their first two TDs came from turnovers giving them the ball around the opposing 20 yard line.
Late in the 4 th they were unable to put the game away despite Newton throwing an ugly pick.

-I know we have a lot of injuries but I hope the Skins had some Oklahoma type drills this week because they'll need to wrap up perfectly to bring Blount down. Missed tackles would be lethal for us.

-On D they are really solid against the run (hey it's not like we were expecting to run it down their throat, is it?), but it could be taken advantage of: their LBs bite really really hard on play action and tend to follow the RB on option plays.

-They seem to play a lot of zone coverage, so maybe short passes and screens could be effective.

But if you remember the week 1 game, that was close and we got robbed by the refs at the end.
And yes we're hurt but our offense and Cousins in particular are playing better, and last time you moved the ball against us in part due to easily fixable mistakes.

So there's no reason to believe the Skins can't win this one.

I watched the Eagles play this season, they're good, but it's not the team your record says.

Skins team defense is #6, against teams that are 5-1, 5-2, 3-4, 5-2, 0-7
Eagles team defense is #10, against teams that are 3-2, 5-2, 1-6, 3-4, 3-4, 4-3

Our offense is #7 with 374/game against the #12, 10, 17, 20, 30 based on Ppg
Eagles offense is #5 with 383/game against #19, 17, 20, 8, 31, and 11th.

The point of all these numbers is that the 2 teams should be evenly matched.

The biggest factor will be injuries - we have a bunch eagles have very few if any.

That said, I think the Skins want this game more and win it in an exciting nail biter (do they do anything else?)
