Ok, WOW! JC threw his entire arm to a WIDE OPEN Mantana Sauce, against a ROOKIE CB. If he didn't make that throw, we'd be chastising him. Let's not crown him a pro bowler, just yet. Jesus... "great day for knee jerk.... blah blah" he's gonna blow it next week. Mark my words.
No one is crowning him a pro bowler, but everyone is pointing out that somehow he wasn't fit to lead a high school team after last week due to all you haters, and now he played the way we all knew he could.
You talk about the rookie CB as if he didn't make a great pass...that play had NOTHING to do with a rookie CB and everything to do with Campbell's leadship and talent (the audible, then leading moss), and Moss' speed to create separation.
I can't believe there is someone like you here pissing on the great game cause you dislike Campbell so much. You dislike him so much that you are unwilling to see what he actually did for your so-called team. You are not a fan, you're a hater.
So do us all a favor...here you go:

What a remarkable performance after such a disaster last week! Congrats to Campbell and the entire Redskins team! I'm so proud!

LOL, I believe the old saying is 'tis better for people to think you the fool than for you to open your mouth to remove all doubt.'

Some people are so jaded by their own misery they cannot enjoy prosperity.

Got back from the game and really enjoyed reading the last 15 or so pages of posts, starting about 3:30 pm when we were down, knowing where it was going.

The Defense was amazing, what more can you say about Chris Horton. The D really kept us in this game.

The O line bore no resemblance to the Line of last week. Maybe it was the emotion of Joe Bugel's issues then, I don't know. They gave him much more time this week.

JC still seemed to be holding on to the ball and single looking his receiver in the first 1/2 but he missed a wide open Cooley on one drive and after that it was like something clicked and he started to survey the field much more.

That pass to Moss was clearly the biggest of hi pro-career, IMO.

He made a big league pass at a crucial moment.

He grew a lot today.

There are still going to be some growing pains, as we have some tough games coming up on the road, but now the guy knows it aint over till Rosie O'Donnell sings.

Good Game JC.

J-Dawg.

Jason cambell won the game that is ALL that matters to me.we will see how he does the next couple of weeks. we will need 300 yards passing to win at cowboys. If we dont let owens beat us with 4 long touchdowns like he did last year. HAIL!!

Someone chose wrong punter!! 2 shanks one that was taken to the house and one miss hold that cost us 3 points. The coaches need to rethink rookie holder is not good. maybe he will get better? But it does not look good for brooks.

The clear difference is that JC moved in the pocket AWAY from a defender, reset, and still threw a perfect ball. To me, that screams that he has improved. I have NEVER seen him do that before and he did it twice yesterday.

I doubt it, he let a punt sail right through his hands into the endzone.

Say what you want about Brooks but at least he never gave the OTHER team points.

Well then what did he do when he botched the snap and then turned around and kicked a low short punt to Bush?
Off Topic.

But can someone explain the C and the star on JC's jersey? I noticed it in Madden too. But never understood what it meant..
I didn't see anyone give you an answer in a few pages after this so here's your answer: "Captain"

Last season the teams were allowed to place a minimum of 6 captain's designations on unirforms. Most teams do it, some don't.
The standard NFL uniform regalia doesn't change all that often, excluding the odd commemorative patch here and there. But this season in the NFL, two major changes have been made to the uniform styles fans have come to know and love.

Each uniform change has its own specific purpose and is designed to call attention to different aspects of the game.

Both changes were unveiled this pre-season and were originally met with confusion by fans, but now are starting to become more familiar.

The lime-green dot is placed on the back of a player's helmet, and is used to signify the one designated player for each team that has a radio headset inside of his helmet. The dot was deemed necessary because of the potential for a problem situation to arise where teams could conceivably place headsets inside more players' helmets, thus giving them a competitive advantage as far as communicating with their teammates. Having multiple headets would be most advantageous in a situation on the road when the opposing crowd is cheering loudly and disrupting the play calls. A team with multiple headsets would have little problem communicating, taking away some of the other team's home field advantage. Quarterbacks are the main wearers of the green dot stickers.

The second uniform change is the addition of the "C" patch on a player's right shoulder. The "C" stands for "captain," and each captain is elected for a one-year term to be a captain. Not all captains have the "C" on their jersey, however, making it a little confusing. That's because a maximum of six players per team can wear the patch on their jerseys, and some teams like the Patriots for example have more than six (New England has seven and Tom Brady is actually the one who doesn't wear the patch). The four stars underneath each "C" logo represent are each filled in for every year a player fulfills his duties as captain, but they are not retroactive, so no one in the league actually has more than one star under his "C" at this point in time. Some teams don't wear them as often as others, however.

Yeah, if they were smart, they would've had some gold alternate jerseys for days like this. :D

Brooks had a bad day. Horrible actually, but he DID beat Frost out over months in the preseason and training camp. He won the battle for a reason. So I say we give him another chance. He does have more raw talent than Frost and he should be better in the long term.

"at least he (Frost) didn't suck!" <--- HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA

Besides, he's Green Bay's punter now.

Horton should absolutely start next week.
