anyone know where i can get me a RG3 jersey? either pro or college?
If you wait about a month or two they're going to be everywhere. |
That is perfect and feed me a beer.
To each is own just know some people find the "house tours" awkward/ weird. If it is your thing it is your thing.
You're a Redskins fan, help yourself. I hate the tour but my wife loves them. |

I'm just waiting to see what number he will wear. |
Re: Redskins agree to trade for No.2 overall pick in 2012 Draft
Well what's the choice. The awkwardness of showing them around, or not showing them around leaving them to wonder why you're not giving them the awkward tour around the house?
It's a lose/lose basically.
Great! I just assumed no one wanted the tour. Now I probably have a group of friends that are like WTF where was the tour. This weekend I am just running tours for everyone I know. I will even rent a little shuttle for the tour of the "grounds". |
Re: Redskins agree to trade for No.2 overall pick in 2012 Draft
I feel the same. But I also find that friends typically WANT the tour for reasons I do not understand.
Anyhow, bringing Luck to Indy is likely more than just a house tour. It is day one of his on-the-job training as a Colt.
Oh yeah no doubt. I'm sure other Colts players will be on hand to run through plays with him, and heck he probably already has a playbook or a portion of it. |

They are realtors, flippers, historic preservationists/rehabbers, investors, stereotypical gay men and just lowly homeowners like myself. Point is, they're all into real estate & the art of architecture & interior design, so the tour of any place is expected upon first visit. Gotta know your audience, I have been on a few overindulgent tours. Always best to take a minimal approach if you don't know some of the people well, and if they want more they'll ask. |

Since they didn't have any plans to bring in Robert Griffin, I'd say that Andrew Luck will be their choice on draft day. I wouldn't be surprised if the Colts didn't sign Luck to a huge contract before the draft. |

I'm guessing in the neighborhood of 4 yrs $25M. Remember that Cam got 4 yrs $22M. |
Re: Redskins agree to trade for No.2 overall pick in 2012 Draft
i wish the draft was tomorrow. not excited about drafting griffin since i know its 99% going to happen but im thrilled for him to suit up for us. Im excited to see what other moves we make move up/back or gather more picks and who we take.

Re: Redskins agree to trade for No.2 overall pick in 2012 Draft
It sure seems to. I know the Colts brass can just go to Baylor to work RG3 out if they wish, but if you're going to draft a guy it only makes sense to bring him into your house and introduce him to all your staff and make him feel comfortable.
It's like when you have friends over to the house for the first time and you give them the grand tour. :)
Do you think they might slip him a Playbook. Never mind answering noticed you kind of answered this question in a later post. |

Man...I've been a little nervous about the Colts picking up RGIII.
I started following Irsay on Twitter the other day. He is absolutely crazy. Half the time I think he's on drugs. Please let them sign Luck before the draft so I can stop reading this guy's rants!! |
Re: Redskins agree to trade for No.2 overall pick in 2012 Draft
not happening. you meet with your qb before you draft him. the colts not wanting to have rg3 for a private workout is the most obvious foreshadowing ever. its not like theyd want to hahve some smokescreen.

I love it, Bobby Beathard might be at the Redskins draft with Bruce Allen.

good stuff, but there is Don Banks stating 3 first rounders for the 2nd spot. Usually not a big fan of Banks, kinda a reason why. I expect a journalist to know its not 3 first round picks. |

It kinda is. A first round pick this year, a first round pick next year, and a first round pick the year after that = 3 first rounders. Sure the 2nd overall pick cancels this years' first out, but we still had to give it up in the deal. He's not talking about net picks lost, he's talking about the parameters of the deal. |
Re: Redskins agree to trade for No.2 overall pick in 2012 Draft
Fact, we gave up 3 first rounders and a 2nd rounder in exchange for the 2nd overall.

Its two first rounders, a second, and a swap of 1st rounders this year. St Louis is not gaining 3 first rounders and we are not losing 3 first rounders. Thats the way I see it. |

You are correct that it is two first rounders and a second rounder NET. But most literally, we are giving them 3 first rounders and a second, they are giving us a first. Paperwork filed with the league will show us giving up 3 firsts. |

Anyone else watching McNugget on ESPN First Take. He comes off quite bitter imo. He said Skins misused him.... So im guessing Minnesota misused him as well lol. He also said RG3 is a bad fit for Washington..

I agree with McNabb. How could Shanahan possibly make use of an extremely intelligent, strong armed, track star? |

I used to be a fan of the guy going back to his SU days, not so much anymore. He never takes any responsibility and always passes the buck. Lame. |

Didn't you hear McNabb though. Shanahan will probably screw that up to. In more pleasant news.
At the end of the segment, Allen said he thought the strength of this draft was on the defensive side. And at the very top. “I think there’s two good quarterbacks in this draft,” he said. “Two. Two.”
So I guess Tannehill and Weeden were never really an option. |

Re: Redskins agree to trade for No.2 overall pick in 2012 Draft
regardless of how good weeden is, taht age is jsut a dealbreaker. say he comes out and lights it up, great, 5 years of franchise QB... say he takes his time and hits his prime 2-3 years later.. bad idea.
