You hate on one site because you were banned. It was most likely because of the same stuff you do here. My opinion was he doesn't know what he's talking about. It's no different then you attacking me with your following post.
I'm not going to argue with anyone, you made a judge-mental post that was to initiate an argument with me, and then posted about how I would enjoy ES better because it's full of people that want to argue with each other.. The irony in all of that is beautiful. I'm sure you will follow it all with some sort of "defense post" to make you look like a victim. Or,you will post another one sentence quirky post. Either way, I wont be reading it because you have yet to give me any reason to read anything you post with much interest. Edit : I don't mind if you dislike Shanahan, but if you don't enjoy what I post and if i'm not breaking rules. Either don't read it or don't post about it and not expect backlash. /game Sorry I brought the thread off topic. I was provoked. Please carry on.
Never had an issue with you bucket. Your memory is foggy - you actually bust into a thread about two months ago to say " if i have to read one more post by punch it in im going to slit my throat". I believe those were your words. Since than ive seen you call probably 10-20 different posters stupid. I believe you got called out last nite by Mechanix for doing it. Sorry to everyone for this nonsense but if you Bucket or you That guy have a problem with my post count or anything i say than inbox me about it or block me. Im done. Edit: and i dont mean if you have a different opinion - thats what its all about. I mean the juvenille crap like calling me classless or annoying. Save that shit for the ole in box. Ill read it and digest it i promise. |
I think its about time someone finally had the nads to say it. DC needs a wake up call. This is it! Im all for Mike calling it as he sees it. Im so glad he didn't say "well, give it a few more years" that just gives the guys more time to screw off. Its time guys know you dont come here for the paycheck any longer.
If you can't read between the lines, Mike is ready to clean house.
"He's our coach. If you don't buy in, why are you here?" Redskins defensive end Kedric Golston said. "You're only hurting yourself and the rest of the team. ... Coach Shanahan wants to win games. It's not like he's trying to sabotage the season." Guess I wasn't the only one to see it this way... |
Lol about?
About whether or not Mike is losing some of the guys in the locker room. We know Haslett has lost key guys in the locker room, but I don't think there has been a question about Mike and the locker room until now. Cooley, Moss, Fletcher, Banks, and Hall will be gone after this season.

Nothing publicly that I have seen. I doubt you'll see a quote attached to a name. Again, I'm just guessing or speculating. Smoot could tell you more than me. |

Mike better get his shit together and fast.
The "losing the locker room" talk is a bunch of BS. These guys are professionals. They want to play in the NFL, if not here then somewhere else. They're not going to play at 60% or half ass it because MS has pissed them off about some stupid comments after a tough loss. Or because Haslett plays conservative cause he's trying to hide the crappy coverage on the back end. That term is ridiculous. They need to make some adjustments and go out and beat a very beatable Eagles team. |
Brandon Banks ruins everything
Speaking of Banks...what the heck was that last play supposed to be. Even RGIII was standing on the field with his arms out saying "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Or maybe he was saying "KYLE, ARE YOU INSANE?" I still can't figure out what was supposed to happen...it was a worse-looking play than Zorn's swinging gate. That was just telegraphed. I knew what that play was supposed to look like and so did the Giants...but what was Banks supposed to be doing? There was half a minute left too...down by only a TD...why now throw the ball down the field a few times? There was no need for a backwards hook and ladder or whatever that was. |

They are "supposed" to be professionals, but it very well can happen. These guys are human after all, and have emotions just like anybody else. Money isn't the only driving factor behind their play. I can go through and show you time after time where these guys do things that "professionals" simply don't do. |

I was so disgusted that I turned to my friend and told him we were going to do the same exact play after the timeout was called, and he just looked at me and said no frikkin way. I said yep, just watch. Like Panda said, if Zorn had been standing in front of me at that moment, it wouldn't of been a good thing. |

Can we get Smoot in here to expand on this?
LL @HTTR24_7 Coaches should trust him more and get off their "3 year plan".. The kid is progressing at a rate that out paces that plan. Let the kid throw LL @HTTR24_7 Before you hate on Griff understand that he is being held back, he's not a fan of the option. If he doesn't want to run it or isn't a fan of it, why the **** are we?...lol I understand wanting to start him off slow, but it appears the kid can handle it so why not roll with him? |

Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?

What would you like me to say? I get tired of repeating the same thing over and over again to random poster #2322 and so on.
It's the same thing every 4-5 pages. People say the same thing. One corner you have the Shanahan haters who spew non sense about anything to damage the man reputation, and the other corner you have people defending Shanahan no matter the faults. Then you have people like me who are realists and didn't pick Shanahan as their head coach choice, but know it would cripple us for longer if we were to drop him now, then to give him his full contract term. Besides.. most of your posts Punch are barely 2-3 sentences... I don't want to hear about mine.. So please refrain yourself. Thanks. Edit : For example.. Your last 8-10 posts alone in this thread don't even equal 100 characters.
Numero Uno, if you are the type of person that dislikes watching the same movie over and over, or reading a book for the second or third time, then maybe this thread just ain't for you. If we rehash the same points over and over, we apologize. And we do not try to harm the man's reputation. Gimme a break. He has done that for himself, with his foot in mouth moments and his 33% win percentage here at Washington. How about the fact that out of his 20 seasons as head coach, he averages just 8 wins a season, and 11 out of 19 seasons his record was .500 or worse (stat would be much worse without Elway, btw) We don't spew nonsense, we spew our opinions, and of course will put whatever spin on the arguement that we feel will get our points across. This wonderful discussion forum promotes discussion, although Its getting quite tiresome having to explain and justify our posts to you, just because you are a realist, and we are imbeciles. I know its been said many times before, but no-one is making you read OR comment on this thread. I think its great that SmootSmack and Matty have dedicated an entire sparkling brand new thread for us that think the current leadership is not up to snuff to discuss and argue. Those people within OUR little club that we like to refer to as "realists". |
Oh great so now our franchise player is getting frustrated at the coaches?
