Never looked to hard cus the image is small on the iphone. Im going to leave it until the Redskins lose. It will be my way of sacraficing for the greater good.
Take the mod aspect out of it. There are nearly 70% of people that voted in this poll that would, as you say, give MS at least another year. The poll is completely anonymous. What's the benefit in agreeing with me or SS??
As SS said, GM isn't a big fan of MS. So there's your mod. Happy? Frankly I'm not a big fan of MS right now, and I don't think SS is either. At the end of the day we just don't think firing him is necessarily the best answer. There's a little more grey area to things than you seem to be willing to acknowledge. I guess ultimately what you're saying is you're right, and there's no room for discussion. Anyone who disagrees with you is clearly an idiot, an apologist, and probably a moderator, or someone who is a mod bootlicker. See where I'm going? I'm guessing you won't.
Well the plot thickens! The one mod you name as a skeptic is nowhere to be found. I smell foul-play, and of course a conspiracy. :) In all seriousness, I didn't mean to imply anyone still sticking with this regime is a sycophant. Some folks are just (too) cautious about what's around the next corner. Didn't mean to offend the pacifists, indecisive or generally "go with it" types. |

Im telling you that with this bird as my avatar the redskins are unstoppable. Its one of those things that is just going to hold true with no logical explanation for it to do so. |

And yeah I quoted The Goat
No, I only named one poster (NC) as such. He can taste the dog sh!t you stepped in last year lol. In all honesty I keep meaning to leave the Shanny debate. I feel confident in two things: by season's end it will be clear to nearly everyone this regime has failed and Snyder/BA will muster the guts to shoe the rat out the door. Call me a hopeless optimist :) |
You have sycophants, toadies and bootlickers like NC who can't help themselves from agreeing with people of authority.
:laughing2 I can tell one person never browses the "Debating with the Enemy" section of the forums. Also, you must have missed my thread a year or so ago about Dhall, or the one about Snyder and his lawsuit? You have selective sight. You see what you want to see, and you pass off any challenge to your illogical statements at "bootlickers" or "apologists". You'll forgive me if I don't find fault with Kyle Shanahan for RGIII throwing INTs. Also please forgive me for not finding fault with Kyle for RGIII fumbling a football. These are the types of things we rail on you about, not that there aren't faults with Mike. I'll post some things that you'll find more support in your crusade against the regime. 1) Saying it's a rebuild and trading 2nd, 3rd and 4th for a bum QB and broken down LT. 2) Hiring a coordinator who hasn't ran a 3-4 in 11 years and doesn't want to run that scheme. 3) Questionable free agents moves or draft picks. 4) Ego getting in way of team chemistry. 5) Calling a stupid play that would send our QB out as a WR only to open him up to DBs unloading on him. 6) Moronic press conference pretty much calling it a season while they were still mathematically in it. These will most assuredly get you more support than your statements about coaches being the blame for INTs/Fumbles, or that his past deeds didn't count because he was in a weak division or had X qb. Complaining about the offense when it was in the top 5. Complaining about WR speed, then suggesting we bring in Plaxico or Gaffney. Pumping up another coach who has the same record as our coach. These things will make us sad pandas. Truthfully, you've been railing on Mike and Crew long before these current events took place and most of it is downright unwarranted. In the future, all we ask is that you please be logical in your criticism of any coach or player. Hell, we may even join you in that criticism. Thanks in advance. Your truly, A sycophant, toadie, bootlicking Skins fan. |

Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?
I voted to wait till the end of the season hoping replacements are at least being looked at and considered before the last moment. At least consider it and be prepared. I would personally fire Haslett tomorrow if it were my choice. I'd take an interim coach over him right now. I would definitely be looking at options for Shanny now instead of later. We may finish well...there's at least as good a chance we won't. I just can't believe he's the best available. And Haslett? Haslett?

Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?
Back on topic and posting some info that is very disheartening to hear.
LL @HTTR24_7 1. Haslett will be fired after this season ------------------------------------------------------------------- LL @HTTR24_7 2. Internal discussions on if Raheem should get the job. 3. Some D coaches dont want morris to get the job..want team to go outside org ------------------------------------------------------------------- LL @HTTR24_7 so damn frustrating knowing our defensive coaches are privately worried about who the DC should be NEXT year..not like we have a game sun.. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- LL @HTTR24_7 @jaredkaufman front office is not all on board with Raheem.. split room. --------------------------------------------------------------------- LL @HTTR24_7 I didn't even get to the offense and defense infighting that's going on.. Wish all this would just get fixed --------------------------------------------------------------------------- LL @HTTR24_7 Aslo on the Pod... #Redskins executive on Shanahan " He is a joke at this point... A real expensive joke" -------------------------------------------------------------------------- LL @HTTR24_7 Source: Snyder made Shanahan backtrack/spin from his "evaluation" comments.. That explains the awkward Monday presser where Dan was mentioned A lot ---------------------------------------------------------------------- LL @HTTR24_7 Sunday will be the tell all for this team.. I hope they show up and play well to get the victory. A bad showing will increase the drama. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ LL @HTTR24_7 for the record I have been a Shanahan guy since day 1.Still have hope, feel like a kid being told santa isn't real right about now I think these past couple weeks has changed the game a bit in terms of Mike. If he allows this type of shit to continue on in and it shows on the field, it would be hard to bring him back. Coaches bickering about who's going to be the DC next year when the season isn't even over? Hey assholes, how about planning for the game this Sunday!!! It's like the coaches have given up as well gathering from these tweets. SMH One thing that I judge coaches on is how the team responds. Sometimes you really can't go by wins, even though it generally reflects exactly how the team is responding. Many times they can respond very well and talent still not be there to win. That said, there was a difference in how the Skins have played the past two games. The team that played against the Falcons and Giants, aren't the same team that played against the Steelers or the Panthers. Same talent, but definitely not the same desire or fire. We'll know Sunday. If the Skins lose or get blown out, you can expect it to get worse. I think our only chance is if RGIII rallies this team. |

Before I weigh in on the "Pony" v. "No Pony" debate, I really, really need to know how the mods feel about it. I just don't know what to think until they inform my opinion.

Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?
I don't believe the insider stuff.. Unless it's actually out there for people to see. I like HTTR's blog's, but a lot goes on when you have a bunch of different minds.
|
Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?
Wow! That sounds even worse than I imagined NC Skins! I don't care about Haslett but someone needs to be concerned about gameplanning Sunday. I would also go along with getting someone outside the organization and Haslett can take these dipshits with him including Morris. If all this is true Shanny really is an expensive joke and there are plenty on here who will agree with that.

The problem I would have with Gruden is he would want control over personnel. We saw how that worked in Tampa Bay. Once McKay's team got old, the Bucs started to suck. I would only have Gruden as a coach. I wouldn't even want Bruce making personnel decisions. |
Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?
I don't see Gruden leaving ESPN honestly

Amen brother. Someone worthy of giving a chance to that's hungry for the opportunity. A name coach doesn't mean anything anymore. One of our own posters...SFredskin said we should have hired Harbaugh and he was right on the money. Check around and get some opinions FO. For Gods sake you're being paid pretty well to know football. |
