Vikings | Childress had thoughts of Owens in dealing with Culpepper
Mon, 20 Mar 2006 14:21:17 -0800 John Shipley, of the Pioneer Press, reports Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress said he heard enough from former QB Daunte Culpepper to know that he did not want to be with the Vikings and that the feeling was mutual. Childress had plenty of background experience having to deal with WR Terrell Owens for the last two seasons. In his first public appearance in the Twin Cities, Childress told a St. Paul Chamber of Commerce luncheon crowd he didn't like what he heard from Culpepper during the few conversations they have had since Childress was hired Jan. 5. Childress was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach in Philadelphia the past seven seasons, the last two with Owens, whose egocentric, and eccentric, behavior ultimately became such a headache that his prodigious talent was deemed not worth it. more smack talk. |

I'm a big Griese fan, surprised he hasn't been able to just stick with one team. Grossman shows a lot of promise but just can't stay healthy. And Orton is clearly the weakest but put all the right pieces around him and he did ok |

Cardinals | Team has some interest in Harrington

"We have considered both of those (Harrington and Kerry Collins), but we're going to weigh that against draft considerations as well, and see where we come out," Graves said. "There's certainly no opposition to looking at Joey Harrington." |

Re: FA QB mama-drama (3/14)
I just read the interview Antonio Pierce gave. What a schmo! He's LOBBYING TO GET LAVAR! HAHAH. Is it just me, or is my hatred for this guy legitimate? I hope Clinton makes him his BITCH when he breaks his ankles RACING to the secondary against the Midgets this year. I'm gonna bust a nut watching Al Saunders and CP tearing up that linebacker core. Especially Antonio Pierce. Think that would shut him up? I hope they get Lavar also, so Mr. Saunders can show the rest of the NFL, and the world for that matter that Lavar Arrington is garbage. He can't play in a structured D. This season is going to be very emotional. **** you Pierce. Much terminal illness to you, and your family, along with Jeremy Shockey.
