McNabb's pocket presence is off the charts compared to Campbell. And even when he gets hit, which was often today, he's much more solid with the ball. The blind side hit that he took late would have been a sure fumble with Campbell at QB.

Plus a BIG shout out to Laron. I was one of the vocal critics last year, and he is definitely playing the best strong safety that I've seen this year. He's an intimidator and a difference maker for our D.

And all it took was a defensive coordinator that knew how to play him to his strengths. Who knew?

Seriously though Greg Blache is a good defensive coordinator, but I'd bet he'd be an even better defensive coordinator if he played players' to their strengths. Landry at FS is a weakness, but now that he's being used right he's finally living up to his billing as the sixth overall pick.

How about our scary wrecking-ball defense? Perhaps they need a nickname - they keep knocking everyone out of games, and this is at least part of the reason we keep winning! Although we didn't knock him out - if Clay Matthews stays in the game, we lose this game.

Dallas: Demarcus Ware
Houston: Andre Johnson (he came back)
St. Louis: Steven Jackson
Philly: Vick, McCoy, and Samuel
GB: Finley, Lee, Matthews, and Rodgers

If I was Peyton, I wouldn't want to meet Mr. Landry in the backfield next week.. ;)

This bend dont break D is great, it can provide a little heartburn but I like it. RAK AND LANDRY ARE MY HOMIES!

I agree with all that has been said. Wanted to mention London Fletcher--he's adjusted well, I think, to the 3-4. He's a great leader. And LOVED that sack with Alexander.

Another positive: we're actually capitalizing on other team's poor play. The Pack made lots of errors, sure. But we made them pay. That's something new around here!

Larry Johnson stuck a knee in DeMarcus Ware.

This team is tough. They hit people, they play hard, and they never give up. I love those things about this team. Hail to these Redskins!

1) We won.
2) My NYG lovin' 13yo was at the game yelling D-Fence with the best of us rootin hard for the Skins. Man That was an awesome experieence.
-- also, at the start of OT, my son said what would make it great was to see an INT and return at a live game to win the game, something he constantly has wanted to see, and then LL gets one, and we were up there high five'ing it all over the place.

you my friend hit the nail on the head imo. the best positive to take away from this team is how physical we are playing on both side of the ball. it is really awesome to see a REDSKINS team reaking havoc on the rest of the nfl.

and did anyone happen to notice the play where landry caught the int? it was jarmon who blew that play up big time and nailed rodgers which cause the turnover. it was nice to see him out on the field

Re: Redskins vs. Packers - POSITIVES!!

I was at the game, sitting in Section 119 with a slew of Packers fans (damn the season ticket holders who sell to the opponents' fans). And the big positive was those fans leaving after the Landry INT with their tails between their legs.

Right before Crosby lined up his field goal try from the left hash towards the end of the 3rd quarter, I whispered to my buddy that Crosby's gonna push it wide right. He said why do you say that? I said, his previous 2 hits were from the right hash, and the wind was blowing from left to right. He looked at me and shook his head when he missed. The Packers fans sitting in front of us did the same thing.

Orakpo came up big, as did Landry. The defense as a unit in the 4th and OT was incredible. Trent Williams coming back in during OT with a hurt knee (I thought he blew it out the way he laid on the turf), knowing damn well that him at 50% is better than Heyer at 400%. The Mighty Midget Brandon Banks is awesome to watch in person. Santana made his presence felt, and McNabb's improvisation is a warm welcome over Campbell's indecisiveness.

Our O-line ability to switch on the fly has been amazing in my view. Now they still have serious issues (Rabach is pathetic).

Artis Hicks is a stud.

We need to find a way to dress Dockery.
