You mean Garcon?

Apparently not. The fact that Moss continues to stick with the team every year is a testament to his professionalism, and the Skins' inability to develop any talent behind him.

Great time to upgrade our glaring weaknesses on offense

Is it too early to give up on the guys we have? I wouldn't sign any of these guys. Decker would be nice but he's going to cost too much. I'm hoping the new coaches can get more out of the guys we have. Spend the free agent money on the o-line and defense. Improve in the trenches, not at wr.

No, it's not too early to give up on the guys we have. Who are you not ready to give up on? Moss? Morgan? Nick Williams? Hankerson may have some upside but an already slow receiver coming off of knee surgery, eh.. Robinson has potential, he's not going anywhere but he'll never be more than a 4th or 5th WR. We need a #2 and a strong slot receiver, desperately.

We don't need to be in the Decker/Tate/Nicks discussions that are going to cost a ton of money. If we brought in Brandon LaFell & Julian Edelman or Emmanuel Sanders & Andre Roberts plus a draft pick, I would be quite happy.

The OL is a need but our receivers outside of Garcon are not good. They aren't fast, aren't quick, don't scare defenders or defensive coordinators. The answer to everything that ails this team isn't offensive linemen.

Preach. Folks we have the cap room and the draft picks to address the Oline and WRs. Both are the real needs on the offense. Sanders and Roberts would be really good signings.

Obviously OL isn't the answer to all the Redskins' problems, but it is the single biggest need on the team. If you improve the O-line, our offense would improve more than if you upgraded any other unit. Aaron f****** Rodgers wouldn't be successful behind our pitiful line.

I agree that Sanders would be a nice signing. And Golden Tate isn't going to be as expensive as Decker or even Sanders.

No, it's not. It's not even the biggest need on offense in free agency. The single biggest need on the team is the secondary has zero quality starters, maybe Hall if he consistently played to 2013 levels but he hasn't and probably won't at this stage in his career. I hope have for Amerson though but he's alone in the 'starter upside' category for now. Have to wait and see on Thomas but I saw enough of Rambo to know he's a backup. The rest of our secondary players (exception for maybe Crawford) are trash.

On the OL we spent 4 picks (LeRib, Gettis, Compton, Hurt) over the past couple of years on those players. Develop from within. That's what Seattle did, draft and develop. The development is the key to building a better OL. Of the starters from last year Polumbus is the only one that 100% needs to be replaced. Chester & Montgomery maybe but let them compete with Gettis, LeRib and Lichtensteiger. Let LeRib come to camp in shape and fight for a starting job. Let Compton fight for a starting job at RT unless you solve it in free agency or with the 2nd round pick.

Our OL was still damn good running the ball but struggled in pass pro. Fix RT, let the battles commence in the middle and develop from within.

In case you're looking for wholesale changes, don't get too excited per John Keim: Positional outlook: Offensive line - Washington Redskins Blog - ESPN

Redskins Free Agent Re-Signings
Haven't seen one person bitch about him.
Maybe not "bitch" about him but wanting him gone. And as others have pointed out (yourself included - which is why im puzzled about your comment) is that other wr's on our roster have been unable to push him out. Until someone makes it abundantly clear that they can step up and make him irrelevant than he deserves a chance, once again, to compete for the job. Because as Ruhskins pointed out he has not and is not going to sign some mega deal. Lol. His career as a Redskin has earned him the rite to win or lose the job. The bottom line is that his production is not what it once was, but it is better than anything else we have as we stand here today.

I would argue that the secondary is the single biggest need on the team.

I would prefer that we get a right tackle, a guard/ center before we do anything. I can not take another season of Polumbus and Chester on roller skates.

Re: Redskins Free Agent Re-Signings

i look at garcon and i look at the rest of our wrs. if you combined all of their talents into one wr; garcon would still be better.

i think the only wr (besides garcon) we have "invested" in is hankerson; a 2011 3rd round pick who has not shown much. as a young wr, at somewhat of a crossroads, i hope he goes the keenan mccardell route instead of the rod garnder/devin thomas/taylor jacobs route.
