Redskins Free Agent Re-Signings
Doug Worthington - Washington Redskins - 2014 Player Profile - Rotoworld.com
Doug Worthington back in the fold. Honestly, more excited to Worthington back than Robinson. Pretty much done with WRs who cant catch on the team.

Re: Redskins Free Agent Re-Signings
It seems like Worthington has been with the Skins forever but he's always injured and he hasn't made an impact. Maybe 2014 will be his year but, for now, I say "whatever".

Re: Redskins Free Agent Re-Signings
Glad to see they're getting all the cheap/short term deals over and done with early. Get those out of the way so we know how much we're really working with when it comes to bringing the big names to DC like Byrd or Talib.

Re: Redskins Free Agent Re-Signings
There was news that recently the Redskins have opened contract negotiations with S. Moss.
I am concerned about their talent evaluation methods because I've felt recently that the front office over-valued their own talent and couldn't determine when it was the right time to pull the plug on a player. Fletcher comes to mind for me... Someone who had no business starting and clearly jumped the shark because of age. Santana is in the same boat. He shouldn't take time from other that need to develop.

Re: Redskins Free Agent Re-Signings
Clearly Moss isn't someone that can fill a large role at this point. As long as the contract makes sense he can still contribute in a limited fashion.

Re: Redskins Free Agent Re-Signings
Sometimes it seems like S. Moss is RGIII's security blanket and if Moss stays in 2013 might be to make our Qb happy. Not so much because Redskins FO thinks Moss will set the NFL on fire.
I like Worthington, his play right before he got injured this last time around was good enough to make the team. Rarely gets knocked backwards or man-handled, he plays bigger than his 6'5" 295 listed size. Hope he comes back strong. Last edited by Defensewins; 02-08-2014 at 07:09 PM. |

Re: Redskins Free Agent Re-Signings
I like Moss, he's not that A1 receiver, but he knows his role, loves the game, and Griffin and him seem to be on the same page. No problems at all with talking with him about staying, just make the number reasonable for both parties.

Re: Redskins Free Agent Re-Signings
I'd honestly rather see him finish out his career as a role player on a contender. A guy like that, you just root for him to get a ring. For us though, I'd like to finally go young.

Re: Redskins Free Agent Re-Signings
Moss has been my favorite skin since he stepped on the field, that said its time for him to go. He's had a great run. Resigning him and Robinson is pointless, it's not gonna help our problem at wr. We need to get much better play at that position. Like to see us draft one and sign at least 2 solid wr.

Re: Redskins Free Agent Re-Signings
Moss is washed up and should retire, rather go with a younger WR who "earns" a roster spot.

Sorry, Santana, you are a credit to the club in every way. But we just aren't good enough to give you the SB ring you deserve, and we need to get younger. Monday Night Miracle Forever! |
