Must be nice to have a solid (and that's an understatement) all around team that can pull out a win even when your QB has 4 picks.
2 of those picks were on the receiver, but we get it. Your a hatter. Let's see if Luck can match it and come back from down 2 td. He's the much better qb, right? |

Eff these people
Was at the Skins v Seahawks this season and the Hawks fans around us were nice but definite bandwagoners. |

Luck doesn't have a defense that can shut down Tom Brady and I doubt any of his RBs is going to run for 157 yards. And my comment was more a lament that our team has never been able to overcome the deficiencies of one of its units. |
Re: Conference Championship thread
Wow Pittsburgh looks reallll dumb for releasing Blunt. They probably coulda used him when Bell went down
|
Re: Conference Championship thread
Brady check your ego at the door. Just hand the ball off. What is wrong with you egomaniac. It should be 21-0.
Terrible call on the roughing the passer. |

Just the nature of winning unfortunately. There's still a small contingent of Bucs fans I know from when they won their only Super Bowl. Would love to know if they knew their QB prior to Wilson, hell, prior to Hasselbeck. |
Re: Conference Championship thread
Andrew luck is 7 of 21.

Re: Conference Championship thread
Belichick simply is wild card to the Patriots success. People always compared Tom to Peyton when in reality they should be comparing Bill Belichick to the other coaches. Come playoff time, he doesn't do that conservative bullshit. It's all or nothing as it should be.

(even though he was injured) They aren't putting up 1/2 the effort they did last week. Not even close to the same defensive game plan of last week. Then again, that's the difference between John Fox and Bill Belichick. |

Looks like the AFC Championship game happened last week between the Pats and Ravens.

Colts are the future of the afc but tonight was never going to be their time. They need a pass rusher bad and another WR to help hilton

And this whole seahawks bullshit of "always underdogs" is old. They were the favorite all yr to win the sb

I don't see the Colts beating the Patriots until BB is gone. He simply out-schemes them. The only coach I've seen that gives BB a run for his money come playoffs is John Harbaugh. They have to come up with a better plan or something. How is it this team can look like all-pro last week to looking like all-shit this week? |
Re: Conference Championship thread
Well 2 reasons imo.
A) the Colts were just better than Denver last week and luck was on his A game. B) manning was not manning |

Yeah, somebody should tell him that this is not last year and that they were number one seed for a reason. |

Add Rex Ryan to that list too. Playoffs are about matchups. Colts match up better with the Broncos then the pats. Just like the pats struggle with the Ravens and zone running schemes (shanahan matches up well with bill) |
Re: Conference Championship thread
Looks like Belicheat is on "let's run up the score mode". They may put up 50 on the Colts.
Come on, as much as I don't like Wilson, he's no Tebow. Elite? Nah. But a bust? lol I love you punch.
Ofcourse he isnt Tebow. Lol. That was sort of a joke. My point is that Wilson has absolutely everything around him that a QB needs to succeed. If we did a controlled experiment with every QB playing on the same team to see how they all shake out Wilson would be middle of the pack at best. |

If we did a controlled experiment with every QB playing on the same team to see how they all shake out Wilson would be middle of the pack at best.
Well, Mark Sanchez had everything around him (top defense, great offensive line, and very good running game) in his first years with the Jets, but he was not able to do enough to take his team to the SB. Wilson is better than middle of the pack, I just don't think he's the elite QB that some people make him out to be. |
Re: Conference Championship thread
Really just glad we didn't get a Luck vs Wilson Super Bowl. I'm not sure I could handle two weeks of talking heads speculating why RGIII is the only franchise QB from 2012 draft not to have reached the Super Bowl.
|
Re: Conference Championship thread
What I like about this Pats team is they can really run the ball well against smaller defenses. I suspect they'll run right at Seattle. So much for missing Logan Mankins ... and Wes Welker.

But Sanchez did go to a couple of AFC championship games when he had that all going on, and look at him when that all fell apart. There are 15 qb's in the league rite now that would make Seattle even better imo leaving Wilson in the middle of the pack. |

Eff that huggie rah rah Carroll and Effin loudmouth Sherman. Throw in the fact that they have knocked us out of the playoffs the last three times weve been in them. Pure evil man. I used to be sort of a closet hawks fan when they stunk. When they faced Pitt in the SB i rooted for them. Not sure why but my hatred for them seems to grow every year. I will be rooting hard for the damn hoodie. I really have no problem with Brady at all. For a guy who almost didnt get drafted to be talked about as the best QB ever is just amazing. |

Idk how the coaches brainwash them into believing that, if they paid any attention in the media at all they would know they're the favorites. |

Mike McCarthy coached like a fat gutless pussy, and lost like one. He Jim Haslett'd that game. What a loser coach. He got his 1 super bowl he'll ever get cause Rodgers won in spite of him. What a coward.

Wait what? How? They gave up a td late, blew the onside kick, by then the Hawks had all the momentum and finally got their shit in order, then A-rod goes down the field and ties it up, then the Hawks win the coin toss and drive down the field. It was an incredible combination of luck and timing, and the Packs' defense falling apart after an incredible day. What part of that is on McCarthy coaching like a fat gutless pussy? |
