LOL. I said it once I'll say it again. I totally believe the Skins are manipulating the fan base's feelings so when they do sign T.O. the majority of the fan base will be happy. [/quote] If that's the case, FINE, IM MANIPULATED, GOT ME, now let's go out and sign this dude. Watch, somebodies gonna sign TO for vet. min. and he is going to get his shit off this season. Oh yeah, Skins signed Bobby Wade |
Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 8)

LOL. I think your right but DS holds it in high opinion. Just imagine all the jerseys he could sell. LOL. |
Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 8)
You think DS cares what we think? This is the guy that brought Deion Sanders here.

It all depends on if it benifits him. If the jersey will sell and make him money I think he's do it no matter what. No honestly I don't sit here with the mind set that the team is thinking... "hay I wonder if the fans would be on board with this signing." But I do think the fan base had some play in Fassel not getting signed. As much as I didn't like Fassel I can't imagine he wouldn't have been as good or better then Zorn who had no HCing experience. Maybe not since he most likely would not be able to pick up his own coaching staff. I'm mostly joking about the team trying to build support for T.O. It sounds good. :) |
Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 8)
I really want to see Darren Sharper here for a season or 2. The guy can still play and he is a turnonver machine. If we are in win now mode, well then TO and Darren Sharper make sense. Enter "over the hill gang" 2.0. :)

Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 8)
^ I totally agree with you. Maybe these signings are a strategy to get TO to lower his price tag.
|
Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 8)
I don't see how signing Bobby Wade and Joey Galloway is going to lower the TO price tag.
Maybe he will lower the price tag just to join Donovan again and play in the best division in football. As well as, take care of some unfinished business.. |

That move in and of itself is why i hold major reservations almost hatred for our fan turned owner the DS. WTF where you thinkin ahole? life long skins fan my ass, you sack of .. . i wish i could never be reminded of that ever again. |
Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 8)
As long as DS makes money, he doesnt care. Even though all signs point to us having a 5 or 6 win season, The Dan is going to make loads of money, until people stop going to the games....

Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 8)
i have no prob with the DS making money off the skins, with our fan following and the structure that is the NFL, he would be the worst business man in the workd if he didnt.
Im happy he is putting the money back into the skins and their facilities. the HD stadium screen is a belated start. I heard our training facilities/weight rooms are some of the worst in the league (SS is that right?), so i would love to see upgrades to our facilities like that as well. |

Not sure what signs you're looking at, but from where I sit I'm seeing a much improved team from last year. |

Not quite sure what you are saying here but I have to agree with Matty. I would love to know what sign you are looking at to say only 5 wins??? I also see a MUCH improved team all the way around. I'm thinking we win 10 games min. Just based on our new Coaching/QB/Scheme. And the fact that we have begun to address the O-line. As far as DS making money... Skins fans will never stop going to games. |
Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 8)
Agree 44. I travel from Charleston, SC 600 miles just to go to FedEx for the night then turn around and head straight home. I have done that twice in 08 and 07. I love the Redskins, and I don't see that changin anytime soon.
