2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 8)
Okay, I think that it's Week 8 (and a half), since Week 1 started March 5th, the beginning of the season. The Tuesday after Week 10 being when RFAs must sign their tenders by or forgo playing this year.
Was waiting for Smoot to start this, but got antsy. Let's go. |

Wait, I thought we were still in week 5? Did we go through a time portal? I'm lost.

Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 8)
no, its week 8. we've just been in week 5 all april because smoot has decided he will only participate in mandatory mod activities. evidently, he's not happy with his contract and is hoping to get traded to extremeskins. Atleast that's what Clayton and JLC have been reporting. Schefter indicated that that Smoot is no longer on the market and we arent "actively shopping him" anymore, although they are "listening to offers." Personally, i don't see what the difference is. Word is out he's on the market and he's one of the best in the business. Rumor has it, we're interested in someone called TK who fits the moderating scheme we have at ES, but it can't be a 1-for-1 trade. I read on the bleacherreport that we want Jumbo included in the deal as well.
Personally, I wouldnt trade Smoot for anyof them. Unless he's willing to give back atleast $20 Million of the signing bonus on his most recent contract extension and then split that up among warpath members who currently have between 2,200 and 2,250 posts.

Oooo, here we go again. LOL. Actually I heard he stated "He would do what ever the WP wanted, but if he wants to be the best Mod in the Forums then this is what he needs to do" I'm not buying the media hype on this one!

Wasn't actually planning on having any more of these threads after the draft....and I'm still holding out of the voluntary mod sessions

I personally like these threads as its easy to keep the FA conversation in one place, although i think a weekly thread might be somewhat unnecessary. Maybe monthly or just keep one going until it gets too big.

Smoot any news on the TO or Darren Sharper front... I saw an insider article on it.

Nothing new. There's no real interest right now as I understand it

I agree with Mark Schlerth, Alan Faneca would look good in a Skins uniform this year.

As expected the Raiders should be cutting Russell soon
