I put in a Seattle win and a Seattle loss with a GB loss and SF win and Seattle stays in the 5th seed. I don't think their is anyway Seattle moves from the 5th seed. GB will play Minn next week and we will play Seattle.
2012 NFL Playoff Machine - Simulate Matchups and Scenarios - ESPN Plug in an Arizona win, a Minn. win, and a Seattle win - Seattle ends up in the 2nd seed. Moot b/c SF is going to win and Seattle ends up in 5th seed. |
Re: Around The NFL Week 17

Re: Around The NFL Week 17
I was hoping GB would just let him score seeing as how the game was already over, everyone knew he would make that field goal in the dome. Oh well, still deserves the MVP but it will go to Manning.

Re: Around The NFL Week 17
Yeah I was rooting for him to break it too but team rewards (i.e. playoffs) will always trump individual records, and that's the way it should be. Good for Peterson though breaking the 2k mark. I'm rooting for him to take Comeback Player and MVP this year. Manning had a good team around him from last year, but I feel like everyone will ignore that. Peterson carried that Vikings team to the playoffs this year.

The running back turned wide receiver set the mark in 1964. *Now Morris has a bigger franchise landmark in sight. He is 104 yards short of the Redskins record for rushing yards in a season. The current record is held by Clinton Portis. He rushed for 1,516 yards in 2005, helping push the Redskins into the playoffs. Morris has a good chance to beat that mark, based on the last time he played the Cowboys. In Week 12's 38-31 win in Dallas, Morris powered his way for 113 yards on 24 carries. He averaged 4.7 yards a carry and scored on a 1-yard run. Morris has a strong chance to repeat those numbers against the Cowboys' 17th-ranked run defense.
I should have given this its own thread. Anyway, Congrats Morris!!!! |
Re: Around The NFL Week 17
Watching Cleveland 95 on a football live, what a heartbreaking story but eventually with a happy ending for Browns fans. I must say I've always had a soft spot for the Browns.
