This must be a subtle shot at Shanny for not going 6-3 with Griff?
Ties it all into the thread at least and doesnt seem so much like a random score update. Lol.

I was watching them play Jacksonville and it is a little disheartening that this is a team that had 1 bad year where they lost their once-in-a-franchise player and now seems to have bounced back pretty quick (seems being the operative word, I fully appreciate that Luck is only 9 games into his career).

How long have we been rebuilding?

Your preaching to the choir man. I know. Was just funny that you offered up the colts record.

The 'skins have been rebuilding forever it seems! =(

I have to keep telling myself that the 'skins will get it right....(Skinsguy, the Redskins will get it right....the Redskins will get it right!)

Do you guys ever just watch a football game and enjoy it for what it is without comparing everything back to the Skins?? Just curious.

Look daddy, that kid has a new toy and enjoying it. I want one too!!

This comes to mind when you said that. I don't think I've looked at many games yet and compared. Each situation is unique to say the least.

That's it exactly.

I don't put myself through that torture. There's so many variables you can't just say well they're doing it so why can't we.

I'm happy for Luck and the Colts. Their situation there with Pagano is very inspiring.

Andrew Luck and RGIII is going to be compared a lot this year, not just here, but in the media and in the league. Why? Because they went #1 and #2 in the draft. So, it makes sense people are going to compare. Just sayin'.....

Yeah I get that. People just taking it to the extreme though, as usual. We knew they were both going to be special. Is anyone surprised that Luck is playing well?

Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?

No, its not surprising. What is surprising is that at the beginning of the year, 99.9% of people felt the team that Shanahan had built around RG3 for the past 2 years was superior to the talent Luck had in Indy. Now that has been proven false. Wonder how much of it actually has to do with arranging talent, than to actual coaching of your players, control, discipline and management during the games. Just really stinks we are still in neutral, even though the NFCE is ripe for the taking right now, or at least ripe for the not being in the damn cellar for the umpeenth straight year.

Not to overuse the injuries excuse but the Colts are still trotting all of their opening day starters out there on offense (with the exception of Donald Brown) to support Luck. Do you think Luck & the Colts would be as successful without Wayne, Fleener and whoever their starting RT is?

I'm with Matty, can we not compare every situation out there to ours since each one is different? I'm kinda looking forward to this Sunday just putting it on the Red Zone channel and enjoying an afternoon of stress free football.
