NFL Network was supposed to stream it, but doesn't seem like anyone is.

NFL seems to be up now.

Re: Shanahan The New Head Coach Of the Redskins

Just my own personal opinion from the presser............. Campbell is staying.......Portis is gone.

When asked about Campbell Shannahan made a lot of positive comments and also mentioned that he looked forward to working with him in the future.

In regards to Portis he mentioned how he needed to evaluate the player and how his players will be working out and staying in shape.

Shanny also mentioned how this team will be disciplined and things will stay in house.:)

Keeps mentioning how passionate Snyder is about the Redskins.

Re: Shanahan The New Head Coach Of the Redskins

quick notes...
Shanahan seems to be ignoring Snyder in any capacity other than friend/owner. Any player personnel questions/answers revolve solely around Bruce Allen and Mike Shanahan.

Asked about Portis, he was non-committal but spoke of RB's hitting a wall, unless they have a tremendous work ethic. hmmm

Campbell also non-committal but seemed to say he had potential.

All the words sound good to me...

He said that he prefers training camp away from the home base, but you have to have the right facilities. Carlisle ought to have their people sending him info ASAP

my opinion, ther will be no fuckery on this team from here on out, i feel great about his leadership qualities and where he could take this team, Clinton Portis has one foot outta the door, no more special treatment for anybody

Re: Shanahan presser thread

Bruce Allen is now on ESPN980. Mike is in charge of the football team, together they will work to make the organization better.

Asked what the role of DS is, Allen said that Snyder told BA and Shanahan what they decide, will be implemented.

I found that interesting as well I mentioned that very same fact in another thread earlier. Things just have not been the same since training camp was no longer held in Carlisle Pa. or Frostburg Md. Ashburn has been an absolute circus. I'm a big time fan of Carlisle, we went there for many many years.

Yeah, but they usually post it somewhere so that you can stream it or watch it live. I know that live is out of the question, but streaming it shouldn't be.

Agreed, I know he's saying that he needs more time to evaluate the roster, and I feel that is valid, but I find it hard to believe that he hasn't been watching film on the team already. At the very least he's probably had a chance to throughly evaluate the first four games with Bob Slowick.

They probably won't have the video up until later on, I think.

come on back to Pa. went to Carlisle a bunch of times. at the very least the front office structure looks like what it should, as long as Snyder lets those guys do their job

When asked if he could see Campbell as his starting qb...... " I definitely could".

Juding by the comment u mentioned along with what I mentioned I think we have our QB. If I was Jason I would be confident as hell right now. Shanny seems to have jasons back.
