Re: Shanahan The New Head Coach Of the Redskins
NFL Network was supposed to stream it, but doesn't seem like anyone is.

Re: Shanahan The New Head Coach Of the Redskins
Just my own personal opinion from the presser............. Campbell is staying.......Portis is gone.
When asked about Campbell Shannahan made a lot of positive comments and also mentioned that he looked forward to working with him in the future. In regards to Portis he mentioned how he needed to evaluate the player and how his players will be working out and staying in shape. Shanny also mentioned how this team will be disciplined and things will stay in house. Keeps mentioning how passionate Snyder is about the Redskins. |

Re: Shanahan The New Head Coach Of the Redskins
quick notes...
Shanahan seems to be ignoring Snyder in any capacity other than friend/owner. Any player personnel questions/answers revolve solely around Bruce Allen and Mike Shanahan. Asked about Portis, he was non-committal but spoke of RB's hitting a wall, unless they have a tremendous work ethic. hmmm Campbell also non-committal but seemed to say he had potential. All the words sound good to me... |

He said that he prefers training camp away from the home base, but you have to have the right facilities. Carlisle ought to have their people sending him info ASAP
