Bye Week Gameday Thread
Just having a laugh 😁
But is there a game you're keen to watch tomorrow/Monday after what could be game of the week happened Thursday? For me, given the possible impacts on our own playoff hopes, I want to see how the Vikings and Falcons match up. |
Re: Bye Week Gameday Thread
I don't see any exciting games tomorrow, maybe except for the Chiefs & Chargers game.
|
Re: Bye Week Gameday Thread
Im gonna guarantee a big win today
|
Re: Bye Week Gameday Thread
Not a great Sunday, but I'll be watching of course. 0 games of interest at noon here. Fairly interested in Buffalo @ Rams and Chargers and Chiefs tonight. Looking forward to Commanders playing at Saints in 1 week.

Re: Bye Week Gameday Thread
Interesting and quirky note:
-Of the five teams that have eight wins four of them have byes today. -Of the five teams that have five losses, four of them have byes today. -all four 8-5 teams have byes today ( I realize that only teams with byes today could have a record of 8-5 ) games with playoff implications for us: likely outcomes Min v Atl. Atlanta loss gives them 7 losses Sea v Ari. Seattle win helps their division hopes. we have head to head over Ari Bills v Rams. Rams loss gives them 7 losses Cin v Dal. Dallas loss puts them at 8 losses, a win puts them in the 7 spot discussion unlikely but wishful Phi v Cle. a cleveland upset would be huge and put the div title at least in theoretical reach Sent from my SM-S711U using Tapatalk |
Re: Bye Week Gameday Thread
We needed this bye.
We’ve taken out all our frustrations on the bye. Us 100 Bye 0 As long as we have the 17 week season, bye weeks should be from Week 5 to 12. 4 teams every week. When we go to 18 weeks, have 2 byes. One early in the season and one late in the season. A season from Labor Day to President’s Day. |
Re: Bye Week Gameday Thread
Man wouldn’t a Philly loss to the Panthers be sweet. Would start talking about a late season swoon. Never hurts to dream. Mad respect for Saquon but I hate that team.

Week 14 byes are BS, especially in fantasy leagues where the playoffs start today

I was cheering that catch and then the bubble burst. Pissed at myself for getting mad at football on bye week. That misses the whole point[emoji2957] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The Eagles were lucky there. Nearly lost to a team we pasted with our backup QB. Hurts had less than 100 yards passing. Barkley is their offense. They’ll drop a game or two before the end. And they may bounce out of the playoffs quickly. Or at least, I hope they do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Saints did not look good today. The Giants are bad. And could have won.

Word is Carr may have broken his left hand. If he's out, even more a must win game,, especially with Lattimore likely playing next week. Now just need the Bungles to beat the Cowgirls... |

Looking at the dallas schedule I could see week 17 being a big game. They don't really have a tough opponent until Philly in week 16 so should win their next 3 and be right in it. |

Let's take care of NO first. Also, Philly's passing game is having issues. AJ Brown wasn't happy in the postgame. Still think they are beatable for us. I like the way the schedule lines up for us to end the season.

Their defense is such ass they can make this guy look like Roger Staubach. Hopefully Burrow can put up 30+ yet again. |

Re: Bye Week Gameday Thread
Noah Brown probably gonna miss rest of season
Man WR and RB high on my list for next year |
Re: Bye Week Gameday Thread
Not that he offers up as a replacement, but Crowder should be available again soon. We need McCaffrey and Zaccheus to step up down the stretch.

Re: Bye Week Gameday Thread
Dyami has a chance to step up too.
I like NB but we definitely need a legit #2 WR next year. He'll always be a legend around here for the Hail Mary. |

Man WR and RB high on my list for next year
WR is miles above RB imo. WR, TE, and little O are all welcome additions over RB …. IF BR can stay healthy. Amazing the guy gets shot and is on the field a couple minutes later but can’t stay on it. I really like McNichols and C - Rod too for depth. Ekeler may or may not be back. Dude is such a weapon when healthy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ekler likely done and was the only guy with speed back there. We need a guy who can cut and go…catch balls in space and go A home run hitter in the backfield with JD5? Would be take offense to next level. I like Brob and he has a role on this team for sure, but we need some speed back there |

I was at the last game hosting the Titans. Dyami is pretty fast and moves well. He needs to see more of the field all the time. He's played well this season. |

He was drafted as a WR2, he's a 3 at best. He's had 3 years to do something and hasn't even cracked 200yds in a season yet. He's caught less than 50% of his targets. Doesn't sound like a guy that can step up. They've claimed KJ Osborn off waivers, so almost certain Brown is on IR for the rest of the year. Hope he heals up well and comes back if possible next year, but we MUST draft a true #1/#2 WR. Here's hoping Peters can spot true talent at WR as well as QB. |

So Zane Gonzales was limited in practice today. Please tell me that we aren’t going to have kicker drama this weekend.

I'm not suggesting he can be a 2 but he can fill a role of a deep threat and make some additional plays. He wouldn't be on the roster all season if the staff didn't agree.

It's not a matter of where he was drafted, it's what for. He was supposed to complement Scary as a deep threat and that hasn't materialised. Less than 600yds in 3 seasons isn't any kind of production and the fact they went out and got Noah says they didn't see him in that role. He's on the roster still because he is better than alternatives, but I'd bet if they needed the roster spot he'd be gone. |

Have you considered he may be a late bloomer? Again, his qb play was not good prior this year and he already has more yards receiving this year than any other year. He has run a 4.44 before and has speed. Our qb has an outstanding deep ball. He has made some deep plays before for this team just not consistently due to a lack of opportunities. Crazy for you to deny his obvious talent. Again, not a wr2 but still can be a weapon for this offense.

Yeah Dyami is not that guy. Has had ample time to prove that he was. He is all that we got right now though as a possible 2. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
