Bye Week Gameday Thread

Just having a laugh 😁

But is there a game you're keen to watch tomorrow/Monday after what could be game of the week happened Thursday? For me, given the possible impacts on our own playoff hopes, I want to see how the Vikings and Falcons match up.

Re: Bye Week Gameday Thread

I don't see any exciting games tomorrow, maybe except for the Chiefs & Chargers game.

Re: Bye Week Gameday Thread

Not a great Sunday, but I'll be watching of course. 0 games of interest at noon here. Fairly interested in Buffalo @ Rams and Chargers and Chiefs tonight. Looking forward to Commanders playing at Saints in 1 week.

Re: Bye Week Gameday Thread

Interesting and quirky note:
-Of the five teams that have eight wins four of them have byes today.
-Of the five teams that have five losses, four of them have byes today.
-all four 8-5 teams have byes today ( I realize that only teams with byes today could have a record of 8-5 )

games with playoff implications for us:
likely outcomes

Min v Atl. Atlanta loss gives them 7 losses
Sea v Ari. Seattle win helps their division hopes. we have head to head over Ari
Bills v Rams. Rams loss gives them 7 losses
Cin v Dal. Dallas loss puts them at 8 losses, a win puts them in the 7 spot discussion

unlikely but wishful
Phi v Cle. a cleveland upset would be huge and put the div title at least in theoretical reach

Re: Bye Week Gameday Thread

We needed this bye.

We’ve taken out all our frustrations on the bye.

Us 100
Bye 0

As long as we have the 17 week season, bye weeks should be from Week 5 to 12. 4 teams every week.

When we go to 18 weeks, have 2 byes. One early in the season and one late in the season. A season from Labor Day to President’s Day.

Man wouldn’t a Philly loss to the Panthers be sweet. Would start talking about a late season swoon. Never hurts to dream. Mad respect for Saquon but I hate that team.

Re: Bye Week Gameday Thread

Week 14 byes are BS, especially in fantasy leagues where the playoffs start today

I was cheering that catch and then the bubble burst. Pissed at myself for getting mad at football on bye week. That misses the whole point

The Eagles were lucky there. Nearly lost to a team we pasted with our backup QB. Hurts had less than 100 yards passing. Barkley is their offense. They’ll drop a game or two before the end. And they may bounce out of the playoffs quickly. Or at least, I hope they do.

It feels really weird having a bye this late in the season. Team should be fresh and ready to go at New Orleans. Game will be a tone setter rest of the season.

Re: Bye Week Gameday Thread

Saints did not look good today. The Giants are bad. And could have won.

Can't believe Daboll isn't fired yet. I can't recall honestly the last time the Giants won a game. Glad to hear NO didn't impress. No excuses not win this game in 1 week.
