Excellent post. Finding guys that can do everything well is obviously the holy grail and what you look for in your first round picks. But you have to succeed in the NFL with guys like Kyshoen Jarrett who may not be the prototypical safety but he can cover the slot like a mother.
Situational pass rushers. Blocking tight ends. Shifty slot WRs that can steal a first down like a shady little chain burglar. Dominant goal line defenders - the reason Kedric Golston remains on the roster to this day. You need a way to win the play when the drive is on the line. Everyone plays their part.
