Not sure I said the taxpayers are the blame. I don't even recall saying we should dump a bunch of money into the projects to help out. Where are you getting this stuff at? Throwing money at the problem isn't the real solution nor is that help they need. That's like saying I helped out Japan during the tsunami by donating to the Red Cross. These people need help via good paying jobs that they can get without being discriminated against and without being harassed by the police on a daily basis for being black. My claim is that people really don't give two shits about poor black people and that is most definitely true for the most part.

I think I addressed this which you possible ignored or overlooked.

What the fuck is a poverty pimp by the way? Do you realize how little people on welfare get? Nobody on welfare wants to really be on welfare. They'd rather have a good paying job they can be proud of. If you take any psychology course, you'd understand that human beings have this desire to be productive. It's positive to our well being and mental state. Self actualization is one of Maslow's needs that most humans desire. Does this mean 100% of the people fit in this category? Absolutely not. Sure there are some lazy ass people out there that are content with what they are doing and who they are, but they definitely are the very low minority of the overall group.
Poverty pimps are folks who can build a career who constantly servicing the poor who do nothing to improve the status of the people they supposedly are helping. So they really don't care, just as long as they can gain...its parasitic. So local government, social programs, urban housing development, real estate developers and owners, clergy, even activist, will benefit off the back of the poor. Politicians are the greatest offenders.

As someone who has worked in the projects, I've seen it first hand.

Why am I bringing up the Democratic Party, well it's simple, you listed previously clear left winged ideas and thinking. I'm saying, those cities of the urban blight which you mention violence are all democrat run strongholds for 25-30 years...they never done anything to improve it.

So I don't want to hear finger pointing because the blame is clear when it comes down to facts.

Education is one key to ending the violence...but it's not the schools only, it's the partnership with the community. Parents have to be a stakeholder, and guess what, it's not nearly as strong as it should be.

Again, as someone who worked for vcu and worked with impoverished communities within Richmond and the school system...the kids who are innocent victims from a) system that is inefficient and ineffective and b) family value structure. Schools arent there to raise the kid, that is done at home hence personal responsibility.

Being poor isn't a crime.

So that's my feeling about violence in impoverished areas...education is the key to squash it. Hope this clears my opinion.
