Agreed, but if it's another season like last, It's doubtful that Cousins is back next year. They need to get their shit together quickly.
Optimistically: The O-line and Cousins had an off game, but return to last years form and eventually the offseason moves result in better Redzone play, and the D continues to improve and becomes an asset and not a liability.
Realistically: the same problems remain, some areas on D are improved, but the offense returns to last years form, but the same problems remains and the don't get it down be when it counts.
Pessimistically: Cousins will take a step back this season, and the skins go as he goes this year. We are competitive in most games, but Cousins continues to be a liability under pressure and his tenure in Washington ends or he accepts a significantly lower contract and deal with competing with a rookie next year.
