Optimistically: The O-line and Cousins had an off game, but return to last years form and eventually the offseason moves result in better Redzone play, and the D continues to improve and becomes an asset and not a liability. Realistically: the same problems remain, some areas on D are improved, but the offense returns to last years form, but the same problems remains and the don't get it down be when it counts. Pessimistically: Cousins will take a step back this season, and the skins go as he goes this year. We are competitive in most games, but Cousins continues to be a liability under pressure and his tenure in Washington ends or he accepts a significantly lower contract and deal with competing with a rookie next year.

I'd trade now and get something for him before he loses any more value.... I know most of you will disagree. We all know kirk chokes under pressure. I'd rather have us be bad this year than mediocre and not get as high of a draft pick....
