I hope we don't reach on a QB, but if we do pick a QB in the first round I will be hopeful that they really do see someone with that "it" factor which I have no doubt Shanahan should be able to recognize.
Jake Plummer was a pro bowl alternate under Shannahan. Brian Greise (3rd round pick) and Jay Cutler were also pro bowlers when playing for the Bronocs. The huge drop off in production from Cutler just shows how effective Shannahans system is when a guy can go from an 88 QB rating to barely a 70 over the course of a year. Shannahan knows how to get the most out of his QB's. Cutler the Bears QB isn't Shannahans fault. The one that threw for 4,500+ yards and 25 TD's in 2008 can be blamed on Shannahan
