Its involuntary manslaughter, not murder. So that's a lesser charge. Someone died, there has to be a charge for that. You can't pick and choose what to charge someone for.
Everyone knows the risks of getting into a car with a drunk driver. Brown paid the ultimate price for his decision. Brent needs to pay his.
Btw, that doesn't mean lock him up forever, or maybe not even locking him up at all, but someone died that night, there has to be some sort of punishment for that. Plenty of people die accidentally everyday. This case is no different.
