At this point, my feeling is we should keep Cousins through the end of his contract unless/until Griffin proves he can play through an entire season without injury. The way Griffin plays, and the way he stubbornly refuses to let doctors/coaches know how he's really feeling, is very risky. Griffin needs to understand that the best thing he can do for the team is protect himself long-term. If he's hurt, he needs to have the humility to recognize the team can win without him and leave the game to protect his health.
I honestly think unless he accepts the fact he's not superman, eventually hes going play hurt and then have a career ending injury, and it could happen during his rookie contract. We might need Cousins to be our long-term quarterback if Griffin doesnt learn his limits. No way should we trade him.
