Technically amphetamines work differently on different people. For me it tends to calm me down, especially after the 30 minute mark. I still get an energy boost but at the same time I become a lot quieter. In fact my own Mothers words from when I was a kid were 'you are so much more pleasant when you've taken your adderall.' Thanks Mom. However from what I understand the majority of people similar drugs will only get the energy boost and end up bouncing off the walls for the however long the drug is in their system. I didn't need a doctor to tell me back in High School that taking amphetamines late enough where they would still be in my system after school for football practice was a bad idea. Even if I discounted the risk of heat stroke and dehydration, the shot to any semblance of physical endurance alone was reason enough.

Greg Robinson not in Week One starting lineup | ProFootballTalk
Wait? That's what the Rams have been doing with our picks? They drafted a OL at #2 that isn't even going to start week one. Guess they should have went with the Matthews kid. He's starting at LT come week 1.

Re: Around the League...Training Camp Style!
A doctor recently explained to me that a litmus test for ADD is how amphetamines affect the person in question. In layman's terms when a person beither calms down or isn't affected by amphetamines it's a good indication the person in question has ADD. A person who gets ultra hyper and euphoric on the other hand likely doesn't have the condition. Something about dopamine levels and slightly altered brain chemistry associated with ADD patients. Of course I kind of tailed off when the doctor started explaining that last part.

Now that Sam is with Dallas, we know that he'll be showering alone because the rest of the Cowboys don't shower at all.

I watched most of it...first thing I like the sophisticated Wolf Man Jack look by Bob Ley. I thought the Skins come off well in the pieces I saw. Amanda Blackpony comes off whiny.

Yeah that's about how I saw it. The dictionary defense is bs. BTW I would like to admit to all on the WP that I was the one who farted on Bob Costas' pillow giving him pink eye back during the Winter Olympics. Statue of limitations long gone.

I guess its different in the NFL but if it really is a problem then maybe its time for showers to be separated by individual stalls. After all its not like the NFL has a cash flow problem. Though I imagine that some of the more vocal opponents of showering with a gay players would probably be the first to end up offended when said player wasn't checking them out in the shower. Like 'WHATS WRONG!?! I'M NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU?!' Honey why are you upset? The gay guy on the team won't check me out in the shower....baby is there something wrong with my body? Ummm wut?
