I agree that a change maybe coming, but lets remember what we were just saying as early as 2 years ago when the ballcoach was playing musical chairs with the qbs. We were wondering why so much switching. I am giving Coac Gibbs the benefit of the doubt. He is doing it his way. We didn't quesiton him 15 years ago, and I don't feel the need to do it now. He is showing that he is sticking with "his" guys. Maybe even to a fault, I remember some Offensive Linemen sticking maybe a season or two too many. Stability is the way to success (assuming you have good [not great] players).

Having said that, I do feel that a change is in the wind. Brunnel;s performance this past weekend was absolutely terrible against a poor defense, completely inept. Even Coach Gibbs will have to note that during the film sessions. I don't see him playing against Phili and/or Pitt. Those teams are going to come after us, and we need someone with a rocket arm to make them pay for that.

At this point in the season we need a spark, even with Ramsay known for his turnover's, he still moved the team in NY extremely well. I think with the way our defense is playing, we could lose the turnover battle [not by 3 or more] and still win games.

I can not immagine Coach Gibbs allowing this to go on much longer, he is stubborn but not an idiot.

ramsey has the stronger arm,a lot of those incompletes thrown by brunell would have had a better chance of completition if ramsey were qb.

I think we need Ramsey for Philly and Pittsburgh. We need to score at least 21 points to have a chance in either game. I have a question, when Ramsey threw his interceptions last year did any get returned for touchdowns? Throwing pics is bad but it's tolerable if you can get the ball in the endzone more than two times.

What I find amazing with Brunell is not only does he not get us into the endzone, he rarely gets us into field goal position. I would take 3,4 or 5 field goals and two touchdowns any day and I think that that could beat Philly but not to sure about Pittsburgh. The steelers are going to be the toughest test for the defense this year.

The way Gibbs ahs stuck by Brunell this whole time and finally we win a game and he's going to pull the plug now? Doesn't seem like a Gibbs move. Seems like it would upset the morale of the team to abandon Brunell after a win.
unless brunell had ABSOLUTELY NO PART IN THAT WIN!!! 35% completion, 58 yards? come on... 4 of his 8 games here he's gone under 100 yards, including 2 performances against dreadful defenses...

Well we are on the subject of morale, what is it going to do to team morale if 52 guys know that, no matter how hard they play, no matter what happens, one guy isn't going to carry his share. A defense can only do so much, before you have to reward them with some offensive points.

Seriously, we are 8 games into the season and the most points we have scored is 18! #*(@$&(#& 18!!!! Our offense in any given game hasent droven "the length of the feild" for a TD more than once. Its pitiful, it has to be set up by our defense, otherwise forget it. I've come to the fact that Brunell just isnt good anymore... I really dont get it... I'm not even trying to anymore. At least Gibbs didnt make excuses for him this week, maybe its a sign.

Maybe this week.
You guys are all wrong. Gibbs isn't going to bench Brunell. No WAY!!! You have to understand: Gibbs already has 3 Superbowl victories to his credit. Another Super Bowl win is nothing. Another invite to the HOF? Nah! The REAL challenge is to win another Super Bowl while your QB averages 8 yards per pass per game - not per half. Not even Lombardi did THAT! That's the stuff legends are made of.

please make the change

I really doubt Ramsey could do worse then 58 yds passing in a game, why not take the chance, If anything, we are at the point now, 8 games into this thing, that I think change would boost morale, especially if we make the change after a win and super crappy performance from M. Bru! did't hurt the steelers this year, or the Skins in 87!

Did you see Ramsey with his helmet on during most of the game? I thought he might come in after Brunell missed the short screen pass. It makes since to get him in there now. But if he does get a chance, man I'm gonna bit my lip on every play action pass because we don't need another Kurt Warner Jr. Ramsey has to get rid of the ball and antcipate the blitz and act appropiately. If he does it, we win.

Yeah I noticed that too, it looked like he was itching to go at a moment's notice. But that was you right who said that they wouldn't throw him into the fire against Philly or Pitt?
