Re: 2022 Commanders Training Camp discussion
I honestly don't think he's the clear cut #1 currently. I think Rivera is serious about a competition now. They are tired of the fumbles. The punt duty is surprising though.

Re: 2022 Commanders Training Camp discussion
Saves us from yet another debate of his value on the roster. They seem to be looking to find some roster spots, RR indicated 6 WR so maybe they are seriously looking at keeping 4 TE or 4RB. They may actually be keeping more DB or LB given the depth issues there

I will never forget the hype for Apke coming out of Penn St. Dude had crazy speed and athleticism. Will be interesting to see where he lands.

Better late than never. Maybe he can find a spot somewhere. Like on an olympic team.

Jimmy Moreland cut by the Eagles. The People's Corner! (Actually, I assume that the folks worth a look are far more likely in the last round of cuts, not this round.)

Re: 2022 Commanders Training Camp discussion
Daryl Roberts and Torry McTyer are still free agents and given the depth we have I am surprised we haven't called either of them

Re: 2022 Commanders Training Camp discussion
Doc compared him to Stephen Davis ... only saw a few carries but I could see it, one cut up field, could narrow his body to slide through semi holes and always falls forward for 2 extra yards.
-------------- “He’s a perfectionist,” Jordan said. “So he may break off 20 yards, and I’m back there clapping, and I’m like, ‘Great job.’ He’s pissed because he didn’t go for 40.” Jordan recommended that Washington spends a draft pick on Robinson, even though their current backfield contained Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic. In today’s era with the committee-style approach of running the ball, Robinson is set to get his fair share of carries. https://www.si.com/nfl/commanders/ne...ibson-patience ------------ Logan Paulsen was praising his foot work and is very high on him. |

Re: 2022 Commanders Training Camp discussion
Crazy how Robinson has went from a questionable pick by lots of us (all fans/analyst, not just here) to looking like a great pick that will be a big part of our offense.
