Yeah I still say 8-8 maybe 7-9...which isn't that bad...Gibbs went 7-9 before...he's been 8-8 before too...Schottenheimer was 8-8 in his first (and stupidly only) year here.

The Skins need that one big play, like the LaVar INT return for a touchdown against Carolina in 2001
If one of those interceptions yesterday had been returned for a TD that would have been huge.

I really wanted to make the playoffs this year more than anything. Honestly all I can hope for now, is for us to hit that stride and start winning alot of football games and be at least respectable. How you finsih one season, defintley carries over to your play the next season.

If our offense was even halfway decent this year we would be 4-1, maybe 5-0. God I'm so shocked at how bad they have been, I thought that they were gonna carry this team when the defense had time to gel.

It is week six and I can't believe what I'm reading. If many of you believe that Ramsey can come in and get this offense going like Roethlisberger is doing for the Steelers, then try to least be optimistic about this season. Aren't you tired of repeating the same line for the last 12 seasons? Next year we'll do this or that. The reality is tommorrow isn't promised to this team and if they don't play well from this point out what makes us sure that Gregg Williams or Joe Gibbs will stay for next year? Contracts are made to be broken and if the talent on this team is not responding to Gibbs's leadership it is going to be very Difficult to bring new players in and produce with great success.

Well, I'm no QUITTER. I said 9 wins in the poll. I still feel 9 is very possible. Sure, the offense has to find its way. That is still very, very possible. Don't QUIT on the team when the going gets tought, guys. Hang in there. LONG way to go. a lot can happen.

tampa switched QBs and won, steelers had an injured maddox, went young and won 3 straight (wtf would SD want rivers over roth? i was confused during the draft and i'm even more confused now )
gibbs has a scrambling QB that he's told not to scramble or fix broken plays, and who isn't capable of being deep & accurate consistantly enough to matter, so he lives off 4 yard passes... shove ramsey in, let him get a full week at #1 and a full game... hopefully mark has to leave or ramsey gets a start after the bye... i don't see brunell throwing up an awesome game though... besides one quarter in dallas, i haven't seen anything in 5 games to garner any hope he can win... |
