I do not see the Giants as a better team than the Redskins. Sorry.

I do recall the Redskins winning 17-3 over the Giants at halftime earlier this season. The Giants are capable of being defeated. They are not the Patriots.
"...winning...at halftime?" So what? That doesn't mean squadoosh. That's been our problem for as long as I can remember: We can't finish games. While I agree with you in that the Giants are beatable, I just look at our situation in more realistic terms than most on this board. We have a backup QB, an O-line depleted because of injuries, a defensive backfield also suffering from injuries not to mention the heartbreaking loss of its best player, and finally, a coaching staff that seems lost more often than not. Before anyone decides to send me hate mail, know that I am forever a 'Skins fan and I have a man crush on Gibbs and Co. But our organization needs some really really good luck to come our way before we stick our chest out and make bold predictions on how the Redskins are better than anyone else considering events incurred this season.

We should've beat the Giants earlier this season (yes I know, would've could've should've,) but I don't believe they are that much of a better team than us. It's going to be a tough game for both teams. I say it's going to be a tough, low scoring game throughout. Too close to call.

I'm not sure how they could study up on Collins. He's got one half of a football game under his belt in the last few years AND there is no doubt that Saunders offense has way more to it than what the Bears faced. I don't think NY will have much to go off of, but they will focus on penetration up front to disrupt a "rusty" QB.

Re: Skins vs. Giants predictions

What is going on here? Why is everyone predicting the Giants to win? Redskins are transforming into an efficient passing team. Todd Collins will toss the ball all over the Giants 10th ranked passing defense. But Portis will be smothered by their 7th ranked rushing defense. Eli will be frusterated by our blitzing packages and will make some costly mistakes. We will double cover his favorite target Plaxico Burress most of the day. So Eli will dump it off to Shockey and Jacobs and they will make big plays off the screen. But it won't be enough and Redskins will hold onto a late lead.

Re: Skins vs. Giants predictions

All I want to see Sunday night is the Skins to play with mad crazy heart. If they do that against the giants, we will see what next week has in stored for us. Our Skins need to play this game like it is their last. Our playoffs start this Sunday. Meaningful games in December is a good thing. Can you feel the electricity?
