I was just bustin balls. I dont have any real issues with Kyle other than he over complicates things at times. Im content as a baby in the womb with our offense.

Yeah but I know others were about to pounce on your post with some response like "What an awesome post" "That kind of logic is so rare here. LOL"

Guys who could be starters on any team unless one of the top 5 guys at the position is there:

Alfred Morris
Darrell Young
Monty
Trent Williams
Fred Davis (IR)
Garcon (IR)
Steve Bowen
Perry Riley
Ryan Kerrigan
Barry Cofield

Guys who may develop into that type of player:
Paulson
Lichtenstieger
Cousins
Hankerson
Helu (IR)

Young Guys who may develop into everyday starters in a couple years:
Gettis
LeRibeus
Robinson

Then you have solid guys like Moss, Alexander, Golston and Morgan. Maybe not guarranteed starters on other teams but certainly solid NFL players who would be picked up in a heartbeat if we cut them tomorrow.

The team has talent and youth most of it assembled by the current regime. It still has holes (note the lack of any DB's listed - I thought about Crawford, Bernstine but really don't think they have shown enough to indicate that they will be more than new and not-so-improved Byron Westbrooks).

I personally think the depth has been increased from the team that Shanahan inherited. For the record, I think Shanny got an aging, talented team that had little or no depth.

But to say there is no talent other than RGIII is just wrong.

I wasnt saying that JR. The poster said that. He said other than RG-3 there is no talent. Than he said that he has no problem with Shanny. I was pointing out that did not make sense if you believe there is no talent. I did not say that was my belief.
Edit: i happen to agree with your statements and you certainly put alot of effort into it but you are barking at ( not up) the wrong tree. Lol.

I think offensively we're talented.

I don't know if you could compile such a list on the defensive end of the ball. (Well minus Cofield, Kerrigan and Bowen, since you threw them on this list)

Speaking of which, you left off Orakpo who I think would fall into that first list.

This is a shame, I really like Kyle now that we've put some pieces in place for him. Is there any sign at all that he will resign with us this offseason?

Healthy, our defensive front seven (Carriker, Cofield, Bowen, Kerrigan, Orakpo, Fletcher, Riley) is rather talented. The problem is they aren't healthy, Jenkins hasn't regained his power and explosiveness from his knee injury, Fletcher is aging rapidly before our eyes and our secondary is doing nothing to help them. Teams aren't running on our defense. Partly because they don't have to but also because they can't. Get some upgrades on the back end and fix the schematic issues, we will see a much improved defense with the same front 7 players.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

Chargers would be my guess. Talented QB and RB/WRs/TE in place to run the type of offense he wants.

Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?

I would give Shanahan one more year since I believe we can all sense improvement on this team. I think next year if he does not make the playoffs, then we have to let him go. 4 years is more than enough time to show improvement. That is 4 draft classes to make your team better. 4 years is how long a coach should be given to improve your team. Also have to judge him on a lot of his questionable moves. Like McNabb, how the secondary was built and everything.

I agree and yeah, after RGIII, I think Rak and T.Williams are our two most talented players.

Let's see what the D list looks like after this offseason. I suspect changes are in the offing.

I think Kerrigan is also very talented. Hasn't been showing up recently but still very talented.

Well I do notice sometimes he's getting mugged when he's rushing off the edge.

Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?

I wish we could for once just compare these forums to the real game.

We should fire/ban every person on these forums when they make one bad post, or forget to post once a day. We can even make discussions about it.. Like whole thread titles labeled "Should "so and so" be banned for these posts?"

Would be interesting..
