I moved away from the area in 97 (Billerica, MA), and when I left there were Pats fans, but not a whole lot. Shit, the reason I became a SKins fan when I was little boy was because I had no clue the Boston area had a football team. My great uncle liked the Boston Redskins, and followed them to Washington and I always thought by liking the Skins, I liked the home team. That was back in 78 to 79. Fair weather pats fans started coming around when Bledsoe was drafted, and got worse as they started winning. Now they are a freakin disgusting machine.
Even though the Pats fans are unbearable, that's still a Red Sox town. Eventually the Pats will fall again, and they will all go back to Fenway.
