I'm surprised they already named Colt as the starter (if RG3 isn't ready). I thought they'd wait.

If I were Gruden, I would send so many mixed signals about who will start that Dallas wouldn't know how to game plan. I'd be saying:

"RG3 is 'All-In for Dallas Week,' but Cousins might get another chance if he's not ready, we'll see how he and Colt do in practice."

Am I wrong? Why would you show your hand this early?

It would only create unnecessary drama, especially if there's no real chance of him returning.
