Redskins trade for Free Safety Dashon Goldson

I really dont see how folks can knock this move when we had NOTHING at FS prior to this addition. I like and fully trust in what SM is doing. Two big strong physical corners, two hard hitting safties, a big strong DL rotation, add a pass rushing OLB in the draft to team with Kerrigan and this Defense is being built alot like a low budget Seahawks team. Which last i checked seemed to be a pretty good blueprint to follow. You cant redo this all overnight nor can you have or afford pro bowl players at every postion. But i love what we are doing so far....2 thumbs up to SM!!

Agreed. This was a smart move. Would have rather we wait until he was cut, but given how little we gave, I can't complain at all.

But if we wait until he's cut, and another team wants him they get him or we get a bidding war for him.
