Re: Cousins 3.0, he's going to sign the franchise tag

It sounds like this "wanting to leave" may have been overblown or it may have been a negotiation tactic from his camp. Who knows, but it looks like things are somewhat normal and they are just doing the typical negotiations. In the end, I don't see what's so terrible about the team moving forward. I feel that with some of the acquisitions we've gotten and getting Kirk back under center, I expect us to be competitive again in the upcoming season.

There are some players in the league who are adamant about not wanting to play for certain teams. There's nothing to stop Cousins from saying he doesn't want to play for Washington. I don't think him stating such would hinder his leverage. The fact that he came out and denied that he demanded a trade and still spoke favorable with his relationship with the Redskins tells me that he just wants a long term contract. If it's the Redskins, fine, if it's the 49ers, fine. If it's the Browns......damn!!!! LOL!

Pryor and Doctson > Jackson and Garcon (especially for the money) Baker was not that big of a loss, he was a lot of fun and my favorite player but he was overrated by our fan base |
