It is also not a big secret that the Patriots are dicks about rules like this, and for some reason, they feel compelled to break these rules.

I get competitiveness and whatnot, but sh*t like this is just annoying as hell. Belichick is notorious for putting up bogus injury reports and it would not surprise me if something like this happened.

it is not the same tthing,but joe gibbs used to stretch the injured reserve rules really far when he was coaching.must have kept rypien and humprhies on injured reserve for 4 years at least.
