Riiiiiiiight, but where do you draw the line between giving Mayhew the credit for building SF's roster and giving Lynch the credit for building SF's roster?

Have you ever considered maybe he's been effective in his role because there's literally no pressure on him?

Let me put it like this, are we giving Bruce Allen's assistants any heat for what a shitty job they do assisting Bruce in building our roster? Can you name any of Bruce's assistants without looking them up?

I'm not sold on Mayhew just because he's been an invaluable adviser to John Lynch on how to be a good GM.
