Yep, I understand why some like it, but there is no way they're sticking with WFT. Jason and his team would look so lame after talking up the renaming process and bragging about the trillions of fans inputs they received for 2 years, if in the end they stuck with the temporary name found in 2 weeks.

At this point I kind of feel like they will look lame no matter their choice. Unless the whole roll out is without a hitch (no roller derby team pop ups) and it is a clear reflection of diligent effort, there will be questions as to why it took so long. Someone on here suggested they are purposely letting it span two years to have the fans ready for a name, no matter what that name is. If that WAS part of their plan, then kudos it is working. If it wasn't and they go with an obvious one (wolves, wft, sentinels) then they need to explain why it took 2 years.

I hope they have all their ducks in a row, and start doing some "subliminal prepping" so that we can rock the new name asap.

Yeah I don't recall exactly where but I heard an interview of Jason Wright were he half admitted that they were betting on people being more inclined to accept the new name after so much time, and you could almost hear him think "woops, that doesn't work if you say it outloud"
