there is a whole world of the NFL we don't see or know; in that world EB is not very well regarded; again if he was he wouldn't have come here on a lateral move he had a HC job/opportunity by now

I guess the point that I was trying to make (and not doing a good job at it) is that it seems that the jury is already out on EB about not being HC material, yet somehow Josh McDaniels was given a second opportunity to be a HC after failing miserably at it. And McDaniels was on the same boat as EB = OC of a team that had a legendary coach and QB.

Honestly, I'm not advocating for him to be a HC now, because I have a biased opinion of him.
