I believe sooner or later Patten would have broken through with some big games for us. It was inevitable with the way Moss was playing things would have opened up for him.

As for Jacobs, I've had his back for quite a while now but I'm on the edge with him now. I really didn't like the way he went after the ball on that INT last week, a very weak effort if you ask me. Coaches have said he's amazing in practice but he hasn't been able to translate that to the game for whatever reason. He couldn't even hold the job over Thrash. I don't think it's looking very good for him headed into the offseason.

I have thought all weak that TJ did a terrible job on that interception last week but I didn't want to start a negative thread after a win. He MUST break up that interception. That was a completely weak attempt on that ball. Now Brunell should not have thrown it, but sometimes QB's make mistakes and it is up to the WR to play DB on some passes. TJ should have tackled that DB if necessary.
