Yeah, Romo could be a thorn in our side for years to come and I don't like that. But I guess as long as the boys keep it somewhat close we have a chance.

I'm not sure how to read that game. Dallas looked good on offense, but looked like it was missing something. i just cant put my finger on it. and whats up with carpenter? he cant beat out old man Ellis?i do know one thing, you guys are a better team with marion barber in the backfield

Nice Game Redskins.
Well Played.

The Cowboys are in a life and death struggle to finish the season 8-8.

This loss helps us maintain that balance.
We are right on track.

Woo. Hoo.

Romo seemed to have good numbers tho...
Half of them came on freakin' third down. We HAVE to do something about third down defense.

He still hasn't impressed me. He's mobile. Great.

Right now he has two of the best wide receivers in the game (and much like Brunell) they get HUGE yards after contact, particularly TO. Both TO and Glenn aren't going to be there for more than 2-3 more years. Besides that pass TO dropped, his deep passes leave MUCH to be desired. He hasn't been exactly accurate except on those damn third down throws.

Ellis is a player. switched positions and still leads the team in Sacks/Pressures.
No Carpenter can't beat him out.

I like Barber, I think the one two punch is good for Dallas. Neither is an everydown top 5 Back.

Right. A lot of the backs that are part of a one-two punch, usually end up not doing as well when they're an every down back.

Kind of like Betts, most people assume he's only in there to pass block, but then he goes out for a pass and BAM.

Oh I talked some shit last game - and Last year. I just come back, win or lose.
(Lose, Lose, WIN, Lose the past two years).

I came here after I was traumatized by the first loss last year.

Good Board here. I don't hate the Redskins.
I do hate losing to them tho...

I remember that I stated once that if I changed team loyalty I would lose the respect of the Football fans on this board, to which a Warpath.net poster replied:"

'we don't respect you now..'

it was funny..

I hope that JJ morphs into a Top 5 back....

i don't know if Barber has enough wiggle to be an everydown guy.

Re: Here we go...Dallas is coming to town!

JJ has the speed, just needs to get some power. It seems like he doesn't break a lot of tackles, but the offensive line is NOWHERE near as shitty as I thought it would be and he has some decent room before getting hit.

He's a female toughness-wise, but a decent back when he has running room.

It is amazing how much better they became when they weren't asked to max protect EVERY down.

Bledsoe has a way of making your Oline look bad. (at this stage of his career).
