Here we go...Dallas is coming to town!

Ok guys let'er fly this will be the last matchup this year between the two biggest rivals in professional sports (Yankees-Red Sox is right up there too).

We will NOT get this opportunity for one full year after Sunday. We need to get some blood flowin here. What are the predictions and justify them.

Spread as I hear it now is -3 in favor of Dallas....been a while since Dallas has been favored at Fed-Ex. Does Campbell make his first appearance?

The difference will be the 12th man if you ask me. The noise the fans make at Fed-Ex will make it tough in Dallas on third downs.

Yea i think it's dallas -3. Brunell will be the starter and all i can say is that it needs to be loud and GWilliams need to get some good blitz packages running now that our corners will be at full strength.

Brunell starts (and finishes) = Cow-Whores 21 - Redskins 10
Campbell starts (more than 3/4) = Cow-Whores 7 - Redskins 35

It does not really feel like Dallas week becasue we are just a bad football team. Dallas is the better team and they should win the game. But it will probably be close as it will be Dallas' 2nd straight road game and the Skins are coming off a bye. Our o-line seems to always have trouble with the Dallas d-line.

Re: Here we go...Dallas is coming to town!

Women say men have a one-track mind. I can see evidence of that with this poster. :-(
I guess Campbell must play really great defense to hold Dallas to 7 points. After all, the other teams aren't getting (many) points on turnovers.

I have absolutely no idea how this game will turn out. I think getting Springs back will have a big impact on the defense, but I may just be delusional. I hope the OLine does a reasonable job this game, but I don't know what to expect from them either. If Brunell feels pressured he'll have Thrash around for more plays; he seems to come back to the QB when he's under pressure and usually ends up on the correct side of the first-down line.
If we are going to switch out Brunell because of the pressure we should put in Collins! He showed a classic case of working through nerves during the preseason, and in his last appearance looked good except for when he had time to throw the ball. Of the three, he was the fastest (by far) unloading the ball. In addition, it wouldn't be fair to Campbell to start his career running for his life.

I won't be able to see the game because I'll be in Mexico. Let's hope (in hindsight) I regret not being able to watch the game! (I'm actually out 2-3 weeks.)

this is a totally ridiculous statement. unless brunell gets hurt, he will play the whole game. and i really think this will be one of the best games played by the skins this season. they are running out of time, and excuses

I agree. I think Brunell will come out sharp and have a little pep in his step. what I want to see in this one is some damn turnovers by the Skins D. You just cant win in this league without them. I also want to see Cooley involved more and PLEASE O line, push somebody around. Skins 24 Boys 21

Re: Here we go...Dallas is coming to town!

The thing that concerns me is, admittedly, Dallas has only beaten ONE team this season that has a winning record. Just one, and that was last week.

All of thier other wins have come against teams that are well below .500

It depends on which Dallas team shows up really. And I don't care who you are....it does not matter what the records are when these two teams lock horns. Records go right out the window. It has happened many times in the past when Dallas was a Super Bowl contender and Washington was struggling, the 'Skins would pull off a win.

Likewise when Washington was a Super Bowl contender and Dallas was 1-15, that one win was against the Redskins, who I believe won the Super Bowl that year.

Any given Sunday, especially when it is Dallas and Washington.

I'm with Daseal. It won't be close, but I don't know who to pick.

Re: Here we go...Dallas is coming to town!

The Redskins fan in me REFUSES to believe that they won't step to the plate, and get it done. Dallas has the momentum..............Playin' in our house..............New QB in D...........excuse me, gotta' go throw up again
