For the people who think that the goverment should run health care please name one program that the goverment has that cost have not sky rocketed. Do we need some reform? Yes, but the federal goverment will only add to the problem. They have allready caused the price of health ins. to sky rocket by all the mandates they have required the heath ins. co. to provide under their policies. Drug addiction is one of the mandates and why should I be forced to buy this coverage if I do not use drugs?

I think it is a basic thing about society, people help people. If someone is introuble you can't turn your backs on them. It is completely understandable that people don't want to pay for other people's problems but who knows what can happen tomorrow? You could be the one in need of help. I've just always grown up under the understanding that if you can, you help those in need.

However, not everyone is going to agree on that and that is ok. That is what makes voting great. I hope that people's opinions on this issue are really expressed in the next election. That is why we should be happy that moore made this movie because it encourages people to make up their minds. Now it is true that many people will watch his movie and believe what he says regardless but i would hope that the american people study an issue before they vote for those who are for and against it.

How come that the ones who think goverment should run health ins. always avoid this question? I also see same people who support Goverment run health care saying what a mess that the goverment made when Katrina hit and still want them to run health care which represents around 9% of our national spending.

Honestly I'm not sure what the ultimate answer should be. Should health care be run by the gov't only, or should it be run by private industry and the gov't, or a does private industry just need more oversight by the gov't?

I really don't know, all I know is the system needs fixing.

The federal goverment is already involved in the health care industry with expensive mandates that we have to pay for weather we need the coverage or not. A good example is mandated drug adiction coverage which I myself do not need but have to pay for every single month.
