Agreed. If Joey has those same types of numbers at the end of the year, I will eat crow (if I am not dead from a heart attack). As others have noted, it's a long season. The only game I saw with him was in Week 1, when he threw 2 picks, got sacked 6 times, and had a QB rating of 61.8 Granted, he had a few nice games since then, but we can't crown him off of 2-3 appearances - especially when you consider his track record.

I agree with waiting a full year to really evaluate, but I'll say that I'm surprised that Harrington has played this well the past two weeks. I figured that Byron Leftwich would be about ready to take his place about now.

Maybe that's what is motivating him. It's not like he had anyone to push him anywhere else.

I'll bet that leash will be very short though, if Harrington has a real bad game, I think they'll put Leftwich in just for the curiosity sake of it. Harrington best keep it up!
