Re: How is LaRon Landry progressing?
excellent responses...I love LaRon's ferocity when he approaches the line to hit somebody..it's like he has a quiet intensity about him...and from what i can see, his performance allows Taylor to hang back and do what he did in college..Assuming that was the plan , taylor took it upon himself to re-sculpt his body so he could roam the secondary..smart move on his part. I think LaRon will keep getting better and better. Are opponents talking about him yet?

Re: How is LaRon Landry progressing?
I love the way Williams is deploying the safeties, allowing each to play to their strengths. Landry is already very good, and someday will be great. Williams hasn't blitzed much in recent weeks, but you can bet that he has some blitz packagers featuring Landry in coming weeks.

my point exactly (especially concerning taylor)...Laron seems comfortable. in his college clips he was always on a tight end or slamming somebody crossing the middle it seemed. and Taylor is a natural ballhawk..at Miami one year he had , i think, 10 interceptions..plus 2 in the orange bowl - both on long range passes...I had to laugh at Brett Favre trying to test us deep..his passes seemed to tail off and Sean taylor was there EVERY time waiting..I agree with the assessment of Gregg Willliams' strategy.. |
